Just wanted to say I finally was able to login today. I don't know if it's due to the changes you made as mentioned in the other thread, but I did it with the app I already had downloaded and it made me enter the forum data again.

Just thought it would be nice to say hello. I just registered to the forum and downloaded/installed The Toy (didn't get past the login screen though, still, keeps telling me to confirm my forum account, even when it's obviously active.. )
Anyways, I've been trading for little time, although I'm already starting to enjoy it.. I intend to make it my job although I'm not there quite yet... I need more experience. I have some experience with arbitrage too, though I had to quit due to damned bookmaker limits... hope this never happens with betfair..
I'm eager to learn as much as I can from all you guys, so let the game begin!

Long story, but it can take up to 10 minutes for a confirmed account to port across to the other server. If it still isn't working in 10 minutes or so, post again & I will investigate for you.

Came across The Geeks Toy via Shadow Ninja's journal on trade2win (which he hasn't updated in ages).

I have been looking at ways to make money betting on football for ages. I started out betting on form, then betting on outliers, both these did dismally.

I have had some success swing and position trading stocks (but nothing to brag about), looking now to start trading on betfair although to be honest have no idea where to start, so you'll probably be seeing a lot of me lurking on these forums hoping to pick up a gem of wisdom here and there.

welcome to the jungle, horse markets in-play are the most volatile because estimate the value of a horse during a race is very difficult....but infinitely fun.

hey guy been here a lil time and loven the forum and the toy been trading football and not doin to bad, just making a little profit atm but not gonna complain just practising for the next season, gonna start with a bigger capital so fingers crossed.
