If you can maintain the element of fun and not lose more than you can afford, then trading can be AWESOME. Loads of competitors with hundreds of different strategies, and this great forum. Good luck all

Hello all,
guess I will introduce myself since I am planing on contributing to this fine forum. I'm relatively new to the whole betting exchange experience and thus a real newbie. Altough I tried a lot of tactics and systems I can't catch a break (yet) but that's ok, I wasn't expecting to. Altough I managed to maintain my bank the last six month the Euros really ****ed that up evil. So right now I'm using small stakes and mainly concentrate on Horse races.
I was using Bet Angel up until the starting of this week and since yesterday I am using the toy. It's quite an adjustment but the nice support, the forum and the low price is a real plus! :Thumbs

Gday all
this is my first post thanks for having me!!. Great to find a forum like this.
I posted on another part of the forum as well hope this is ok administrator. please let me know if its not!
I recently moved back from 10 years in London back to sunny Oz. I wanted to start trading on "in play " football matches in the UK as Im told here in oz we cannot do this.
Does any one currently do or know how to do this from oz? if so how as im told its not possible. I have a uk betfair account opened but wanted to check things out properly before I start.
all thoughts welcome please
cheers

Hi Utkan,
ice hockey & basketball, while low liquidity,
at least the prices 'bounce about' a big lot ! Gives
us a good chance to trade ok.
Soccer tough as many know the correct prices for
the mkt's they play in.
Horseracing in-running the most fashionable area
Let us know how you shape up

Time to introduce myself i guess .
Ok , i've been on betfair for quite some time already . How many years i don't know .
Basically , when i have funds on betfair in the past , i was using them to bet instead of trading and as you know bettors always lose in the long run . Was trying to learn trading since then but ventured off into other things and didnt really concentrate on it .
2-3 years back , got back into trading and took it more seriously . Was concentrating on using the betfair site . Now that i've seen the geektoy , i realised what a fool i am (Actually only tried the Geek in April this year) . The geek does gives you some things which betfair site cant provide you .
And it does enhances your in play enviroment . Think i am about to ask betfair to pay me back my losses in the long run with the geek .
Nowadays , i trade better compared to the past and i guess its an improvement for now .
I trade tennis , cricket , basketball , soccer , American football , Snooker , baseball .
So you can say a variety of arsenal to trade on for me .

Hello
Hi Everyone
Just thought i'd introduce myself for future questions comments etc.
I'm off to work soon, but just had a glimpse of the videos on Youtube..
I've downloaded the software to try out when I get a chance.
I know someone who is making a massive amount of money on horses ( lay bets ) and as I had a go on Forex a while back...I think this may be an opportunity worth looking at.
Looking forward to the training vids.

Hello...
...I've been lurking for months, but the recent changes prompted me to get an account. I've been on Betfair since about 2005 but only as an occasional punter. Only in the last six months or so have I started to take it a bit more seriously and invest a bit more time, thought, energy and money into it. I still don't know if this is going to be more than a hobby, but I figured that I've already lost way more on BF than the price of the Toy, and since using the Toy I've definitely improved, so what the hell.
Anyway - hello everybody. I've already learnt a lot from you, so thanks!
