I thought Chelsea would win and felt confident that there would be three goals in these games :

    Rangers v Motherwell
    Bolton v Tottenham
    Chelsea v Newcastle

I got off to a superb start as Rangers scored three in twenty minutes. I took a loss at 56 minutes in the Chelsea game. I took my profit in the Bolton game when the second goal was scored. Playing the market the way I do, one is bound to miss out on some winning opportunities but I try to play it safe. Tonight I felt a bit gutted as Spurs scored three goals in nine minutes just after I checked out.

Profit thanks to own goal in five minutes last night in the Liverpool game, and a profit today so I've recovered my loss incurred in the Manchester derby.

The problem for me is the same one that has been mentioned by many other people here. In order to win, my trading has to be mindblowingly boring. I rarely have fun and win.

I hate losing and am, and always have been a very bad loser. I sulk when I lose. I always trade better and am more profitable after suffering a loss.

    I was wrong about Chelsea.

The only game today involving Premiership Teams today, is this one ... cough, cough ...

I'm going to Back 1-1 (trade out after a goal)

Arsenal 3 - 3 Norwich - a second minute goal pushed all the prices out and brought AUQ, in. A 50% loss of stake on this trade. Even when the scoreline was 1-1, the price was only slightly lower than entry. In hindsight, this game had goals written all over it. I had the total goal expectancy at over 4 goals, therefore a back on the 2-2 would have been more appropriate ...

Every single bet lost ... apart from the 2-2 Bolton v WBA @ 14 ... An overall loss of 50+ points ... I was just trying something different ...

Using the same method on games previously posted in this fred, would have returned some nice profits - in particular, the Arsenal v Norwich game, where the odds for 3-3 were trading @ 130 pre-match.

I dunno if there's much purchase in this approach, it wont harm me to keep a record. In the meantime, I think I'll return to my previous strategy ...

Have you considered using a graph to display your profit/loss over a period ?

                Yes, here you go ...

The very rare black swan formation - note both feet and neck are complete and the rare vampire tooth variation is in place.

This is very bad. Very very bad.
