payment week for the toy?

For me, it's not about being hard up but about preferring to do something for charity rather than simply donating money.

I donate because i like The Toy and is the cheapest way to use such software
How much it will cost me if i use similar software from other vendor?
I'm from a pure country , i have diferent understanding of 5 euro like people from other country so please dont be silly , 5 or 10 euro is nothing

While I understand peoples issues, you are not donating, the Geek is. You are donating to the toy, nothing else. What he then chooses to do with those donations is up to him.
Are people really that hard up that they will take a week off for the sake of 10 bucks out of protest? Personally I couldn't afford not to have access.

While I agree that you are at liberty to charge for the toy or even force users to make a donation to a charity you fancy, forcing people to donate to pseudo charities which use up to 90% of their donations to cover administrative and ancillary costs with only a trifle of what they receive trickling down to the actual causes they purport to support is not the way to go about it IMHO. Donating to a charity is and should remain a voluntary exercise one decides to undertake according to his means. It would have just been enough to ask whoever is willing and able to make a donation to do so.
But what galls me is something else. I've enjoyed using the Toy very much and it actually helped me make some money the past few weeks on Betfair. But then disaster struck last Saturday. I started trading the Man Utd vs Arsenal game pre-match with a view to closing my positions in-play. Suddenly, Betfair went down and there was no way I could close my positions at all, doing in my whole bank.
Now, I've managed to scrape together some money to help me start building a new bank on Betfair. I try to login to the Toy today only to find out I cannot use it until I make a donation to some charity. Without any warning. Now what am I to do? While I would have been willing to make this donation if I had the cash or if I had received sufficient warning before, that I would not be able to use the Toy today before I make a donation, this action really is a game changer for me.
I will look for an alternative product to start building my bank at Betfair with. After making enough at Betfair or after receiving my meager wages, whichever comes first, I will take a subscription with one of the API products and continue donating to charities of my choice, while living with the fact that I would be able to use the product without fear that my use of it will be impaired at the whim of the developer.

Of course, if Mr Geek were to reflect my charitable donations elsewhere and lack of complaining by allowing me to access AGT this week, I would be most grateful. Alternatively, I will STFU and do something else until Tuesday as we should count ourselves lucky we have access to such a great product on a normally free basis. It's frustrating but I'll have to accept the current "fee" system.
