  • Geeks Toy has encounted a problem

I've been using the lastest version on XP without a problems but I'm now getting a popup saying GeeksToy.exe needs to close. This happens before the log in window appears.
Happened soon after I got the message saying 'donate tightwad !'
    Am I being blocked ??

I've tried a system restore and reinstalling the Toy but it makes no difference.

    thanx

No. This behaviour is usually caused by a Windows automatic update that fubarrs something, or less commonly a virus.

First thing to do is do a system restore on Windows back to a point in time TT last worked.

If you still have the issue, run a full virus scan on your system as well, as this could possibly cause it too.

I have the same problem. The software has worked perfectly until today, where on starting the software the toy goes through checking for updates, then as the "want to play?" login screen appears a message from windows displays,
      A GeeksToy.exe has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
I have run a boot sector virus scan and done a system restore then even re-installed it but to no effect.
      help me please
