Dude , i respect your decision to remain in Bulgaria but in my opinion you have endless oportunity here not in our countrys .

I dont know if you run your own company , but i run one in Romania , not a big one , just 5 workers , but i know very well how many taxes i pay there and i know how all the control agency try every week to find something wrong in my company

I open my ltd here in one day , in romania without help it take two weeks , the taxes are simple and logical here , everything is made to help you

I know if you want to make big money , under developed country are the best

If you build in Romania , the total cost of one square meter is around 200 euro and you can sell it with 500 euro , i reconize , i cant do this in UK but also i reconize i dont have 200k to build 10 flats in my country

Did you know , here in Uk , if you have a van , no older then 4 years and one ltd you can do couriers work? For other companys of course , but with little money and if you want , in two weeks you can start make money here , can you do this in Bulgaria ? If yes , how much money do you think you can make there and how much here ? And dont forget , you are your own boss , you take the contracts whend you want , why english people dont do this?

In my opinion , here you have endless oportunity , not in Romania , please respect my decision

I respect your decision to make a better life for your familiy.I also respect the comments of many others.I think the problem is a global thing. It is now to easy an excuse for people to do whats best for themselves and not give a toss about what gets in thier way.
I was brought up on a decent enough council scheme in Aberdeen(where i still stay). My father worked all his life,my son has worked since the day he left school and my daughter goes to school whether she likes it or not.
The house across the lane from my mother is now a multiple let.The people who lived in the house before had a handicapped daughter and were allowed to attach an extention for her needs.Well they planned that well.
My mother now lives across from a bunch of arseholes who cant figure out how to work a lawnmower but have the ability to grow beer tins and bottles in the garden.
My son his wife and child are on an endless waiting list for a house(unless they want a noose around the neck).
As i say i am all for people looking to improve thier quality of life, but respect those who give them the chance.
Wish you all the best in the uk.

Depends where I get a job, Basel is my first choice if I can find anything there (difficult as I don't speak German) otherwise it will be Barcelona/Girona or the French Alps.

Or it could be anywhere in Europe that I can get to go mountain biking and/or skiing and live cheaply.

I'll be in Basel and Barcelona for a few months while I figure out where to go.

                  I thought you were a full-time trader ...

Yeah Spain is nice but what I really wanted to try is Greece (maybe when the whole financial crises is over).

I am full time when I'm not working but it's too stressful and boring trying to make a living at it. Is easier to just run a bot and just do a few hours a week of manual trading for fun.

The bot was doing well until a few months ago, I'm having to rewrite a lot of it as stuff that used to work stopped working (strangely at the same time they moved the servers to Ireland).

It does mean I'm going to be following up a few ideas I had last year that I never got round to doing, so there's a few weeks of coding coming up

So not really full time, just use it for beer money.

Damn sometimes I really regret I've never studied for computer programmer. But I am absolutely sure Finance is fine too. You never know what you are winning when you are losing. You never know what you are losing when you are winning

Maybe something to do with the cross matching? Others have been affected like that, you've probably seen about it on the BA forum

Yes, yes, he right. I lived in England, London and Manchester. Everything is cheap in England, and high salaries. Now look at Moscow. We have smaller or the same salaries, but everything more expensive than in England in 4-5 times.
In England I ate everyday in restoraunts, and try to make the same in Moscow. In England clothes are much more cheaper, taxi is cheaper, Fitness-clubs are cheaper. Everything. Live in Russia is very expensive. Moscow was 3 times the most exepnsive city in the World, by Forbes. Forbes every year make rating, they counts everything: service, restoraunts, appartments, hotels, food, clothes and so on.
So if somebody think that England is expensive, let go to Russia and you will see what expensive is.

Something is screwed up. Eastern European countries and the likes of Russia see the average inhabitant on a lower standard of living yet everything is more expensive... their respective governments need to sort it out.

Not only Eastern Europe, also south Europe, Spain, Portugal, Greece, all former Yugoslavian countries, Albania.
I already wrote that minimal salary(wage) in Russia is 250 Euro(in real life minimal is 375 euro, this is the worst job, kinda cleaner). But this is very small for our prices. Live in Europe is very cheap, when I went to England, I was shocked that everything is cheap. You can live and don't count money.
Indeed I would like to live in England or France, though I don't poor and I can live normal in Russia. I just want to live in some European countries where everything made for people's life.
