Btw we have to honest - we are all addicted, no matter winners or losers - we are all in a similar shit. I have a problems with my hand too (my fingers). I haven't broke anything though, I get in a big rage sometimes but I scream a lot, thats how I deal with it. My neighbours think I am crazy but everythings fine - nothings broken

From September last year I went on a slump, and my bank dropped from £4,500 to £4,000. For months it was just up and down, 4200, 3900, 4000, 4100, 3950 etc.. I said my stop loss would be 3,750, if it goes below I'll have to call it a day because I can't afford to lose any more, plus the hours I was putting in for no financial gain.

      Anyway, it dropped to 3,700.

      Did I stop? Did I F--K!

Yes, I'll admit it, I'm addicted.

        A monitor, a remote control, a chair...... I think that's about it.

I think it's worth remembering that you don't necessarily need to let trading take over your life and take other things away from you. The way I see it it's there to serve you rather than making you it's slave.

I trade roughly 20 hours a week, 5 days that I think will be most profitable to me and I do no more than that. Leaves plenty of time for other things, although I would say that the preparation for trading (which for me means doing nothing strenuous on the morning of a trading session or getting wasted the night before) can limit you but nothing major. Tbh any more than 5 days a week (4 hour sessions) would probably be counter productive as I'd just end up getting more and more tired and making less per race so what's the point. For me, at least, it takes a lot of energy to do full battle with the markets to get the most out of them and I only ever want to trade at 100%, and then when I've finished hopefully be away from trading 100%.

I think really BF trading is something which, if handled right, should give you more free time to do whatever you want rather than take it away. You don't need to cast people aside at all, although if you want to be a real champion at this or anything then it certainly pays not to be listening to people too much and the (mostly negative) ways that they think.

What have I lost through gambling ?

          1 circle of friends
          2 self respect
          3 thousands and thousands.
          4 positive outlook on life
5 the ability to care about others.
6 anything that is good about myself.
          7 the will to live.

I lost all these things and probably many more but am too self obsessed to realize it.

I am glad to say that just because I lost them doesn't mean in haven't found some of them again and am in a lifelong period of rebuilding.
"lifelong period of rebuilding" is a fine expression!

I agree totally. but such a state as a pro as you already have needs some years to reach. and till then - for me and for others, I think - its necessary to work a lot. and so I am a slave and trading has taken over my life..

            I trade roughly 20 hours a week..
I trade 6-8 hours per day, 7 days a week, 30 days a month, and if I am not trading, I am trying to learn it..

we are all waiting for that "more free time", dont we?

Of course you've got to work hard to get there, most people learning dont work nearly hard enough. I'm just saying that for me (and maybe others, I don't know) working too many hours would be counter-productive to performance and maybe even learning. Seeing things with a fresh pair of eyes when you're tying to work something out can really make a massive difference compared to only being half awake because you've traded so many hours and your mind becomes numb to it. A boxer couldn't maintain the same pace of 50 rounds that he could over 10.

Thats why I need a bot. But I am trying from 6 months now and I am like 500 quid loss But I wont stop, every goddamn penny worth it, cuz I know - this system doesn't work mate - move to the new one. Until you find a system which will work with a bot and help you make the money faster (and more importantly - without working to make them!!!) ! I am trying a new system now in which I believe a lot, but hell I believed in every system I tried so far and none of them actually worked so...
