I was trying to compare Betdaq and Betfair. I though the race was running late and put £2 on Gandalf on Betfair. By the time my Betdaq software fired up the other one had crashed. Only £2 bit still I feel very angry about it. No prizes for guessing that I cannot compare the two exchanges today but I will have a little play on Betdaq to see if I can recover my two quid.

An enforced day off, it's a bit cold but at least the sun's out
Unlucky to anyone who's lost money but you need strict money management and contingency plans because i'm sure the vast majority, who've traded for any length of time, have been stung by betfair downtime! I know this doesn't help you now but it may in the future.

I feel it's time traders united and followed BD cabin crew in planned strike action. Afterall it's only a question of when not if that betfair's terms and conditions bite every trader in the arse whether the bite be from a poodle or a tosa. I wasn't affected today but I will be fuming the day it does and that's not good. When I return to trading again hopefully in 6 months from now I hope betfair amend there ways and become a trusted and stable platform. I will not hold my breath.
Anyhow everyone be lucky (nicked from Emkay)
