This is where Bet Angel comes short because it can be very slow to place your trade.

To The Geek: I love Geeks Toy... I don't think I will ever try anything else and I will overcome the above in some way. Thanks for a great tool.

what about betangel VPS?

Suppose to be a lot faster, and surely this is faster than the geeks toy in placing bets?

Bit of a red herring that one, and something they fail to include in the marketing blurb.

It's actually slower placing bets than manually. The example below gives the best case for a VPS in close proximity to BF. { Which Bet Angels's aren't anymore since Betfair moved their data center to Dublin in February. }

Desktop
Click to bet. Bet goes to Betfair in 35ms.

VPS
Click to bet. Click goes to VPS in 35ms. VPS processes click and sends bet to Betfair in 5ms.

Total trip time 40ms.

The only benefit speed wise to a VPS is for bots / automated trading. { and even that's a moot point as Betfair publish prices in 200ms batch cycles these days. } The only benefit to the manual trader is when auto Tick Offsets & Stop losses fire.
