  • laying the field in-running, help appreciated

    Hi all.
I've recently started Laying the field in running on the horse racing and I was hoping the Toy could make this a little easier/quicker for me. I am however struggling a little and would appreciate any help.

Let's say that I want to leave a lay request open for all runners in a race at 1.8. Currently on Betfair, I

    1. Click on lay all
    2. Enter 1.8 in the odds field for all the runners (or copy and paste) which is quite laborious.
    3. Click liability
    4. Enter my maximum liability for the race, for example £20
    5. Betfair automatically calculates my stake, in this example £25
    6. I click submit and confirm.

Is there a way the Toy can speed up this process for me? I'm strugglig a little with it at the moment. Firstly I was hoping there was a way I could automatically set the odds to 1.8, or whatever price I had chosen for the race, and then with one click this stake would be applied to all runners. i was then hoping I could click Liability so that my stake would be calculated automatically at the odds, again using a single click.
Is this possible with the Toy?
Also when I click on Lay The Field with the Toy, how to I submit the bets with one click? I'm probably being stupid but I can't work it out, it seems like I have to click on each horse and submit them individually.
I'm sure this isn't the case and it's just me being an idiot.

Anyway, any help or asistance would be much appreciated.

    TIA

    Regards
    Mel

Quicker than BF interface but as yet still a little time consuming that may change when Geek has more time. Until then :

Go to Staking and tools; open; set stake to what you want for all runners click refresh...
Go to grid of race; click lay on any runner; on place bets header right click; drop down menu select lay all. At the same time set bet persistence to 'keep' in-play
    You will now have to alter the price for each runner to what odds you want manually;
Then using the 1st runner click the green tick. The bet placed runner will go and the next will move up.

Hope this is clear, good luck with it...

Thanks for the feedback. So I do have to place a bet on each runner individually then, unlike betfair where I can submit all lay bets with one click? That's a shame.
Thanks again though for the info.

        Mel,
on a related issue, may suit you to put your bets for tomorrow on now,to get nearer front of Que, gives you better chance of it being matched, if only briefly 'kissing' the required price.

Might be a BF site job.
