If you are genuinely making money from trading and your blog is really to give help and advice then you don't need to make money from ads and affiliate links.

There's been far to much crap sold on gambling/trading blogs, so any that look like they are set up just to make money don't tend to get much credibility.

also claims like 'i can promise that i will do my best to make it the most informative, dynamic and comprehensive piece of trading literature anywhere on the web' don't inspire much confidence.

If you have a blog with decent content you don't need to make claims like that.

    hope that helps.
If you want more luck... Take more chances!

Cheers Cran your comments have been noted and i will address the problem sometime in the week. The links were only put up in the first place as the majority of blogs i have read in the past contained banners and links etc and i just considered this the done thing.

I am seriously going to look at things during the week and change some stuff around accordingly.

Hi Fluffnut, just had a look at your blog and you say you want some feedback so here goes...........

I think the problem you will have with this blog is that it comes across as if you are a successful, full-time, professional trader who has been there, done it and got the t-shirt. You appear to want to 'educate the masses' with your insight but that is only only going to work if you have something to show that you know what you are talking about e.g. a successful P&L blog.

It all just comes across as rather condescending and pretentious when amongst all these peices of advice, you are still blogging about the sort of errors that inexperienced traders make.

My advice would be, get rid of the ads (as soon as I saw them I thought 'ulterior motive') and stick to simple blogging. Once you've proved yourself, then you can start 'providing a service'. Though I really wouldn't see any point in that if you are making enough money to go out and enjoy yourself

I felt a warm glow inside when I read that post.

The future safety of unsuspecting noobs is assured, with guys like that on board.

Time for a large quaff of my favourite tipple.

              I will sleep peacefully tonight.
