    Default Betfair API prevents BetDAQ?

    Hi there,

I'm mid way through creating a bot that connects to betfair using the betfair api-ng. I was thinking of adding the ability for the software to connect to and place bets on the betDAQ api. Since investigating this I have seen some threads online that imply that Betfair prevent applications from using their api and other exchange APIs at the same time.

I have read through too many terms and conditions on the Betfair website but found no quotable evidence to support these claims.... Does anyone have either a link to a clause in either BETDAQ or Betfair documentation that prevents me from doing this?

    Many thanks!

You can do anything you like as a private individual.

Betfair doesn't let you do this if you are a licensed software vendor like us selling your product to others.

Ah excellent, thanks for the reply! It's a shame that they prohibit you from doing so.
