    UEFA Europa League

    19:00 Alkmaar - Anderlecht (over 2,5)

Leader in Belgium against number 2 in the Netherlands.

AZ had their best period in the beginning of the season. They started 11-1-1, but are 'only' 3-2-3 since then. They only just got through to this round, winning their opening match in the EL, but they had 5 draws after that. They got through on goal-difference in the end.

Anderlecht had a very good period in october-november and seem to be getting to that form again. In 2012 they got 16 out of 18 points in the competition. And especially in topgames they are able to raise their level. In matches against the other big teams in Belgium, they took 22 out of 24 points. They only had a draw against nr. 2 Club Bruges. And in the group stages of the EL they won all their 6 matches, finishing with 18 out of 18 as the only team to do that this season.

Both teams are having great attack. AZ got 8-3-1 in their last 12 home games scoring at least once in all of these games, but also scoring 2 or more goals in 8 of these matches. Possible lineups: Alkmaar (4-3-3): Esteban, Poulsen, Viergever, Moisander, Rijnen, Martens, Elm, Maher, Holman, Benschop, Beerens. Anderlecht is showing great form too. They got 8-2-0 in their last 10 games in all competitions. Anderlecht scored 2 or more goals in 7 of their last 10 games. Anderlecht finished the group with 6 straight wins and 18 goals scored. Possible lineups: Anderlecht (4-4-2): Proto, Wasilewski, Safari, Juhasz, Deschacht, Kouyate, Kjestan, Gillet, Biglia, Jovanovic, Suarez. I expect both teams to score today and to see one interesting match with many goals.
