  • Man U v Chelsea, 4.00pm

For once there is a Super game on Sky's Super Sunday - Champions Manchester United host Andre Villas Boas' Chelsea side in an early season stakes match.

Blackburn v Arsenal & Rangers v Celtic have already produced profitable HT/FT beauties this weekend, so this is a possible Hat-Trick for the Wibble-Wobble strat in the space of two days. As a Chelsea fan I fear the worst but hope for a good game - head versus heart, etc.

Bet 365 are running an offer whereby if you place a bet before the game you can have a free bet (upto the value of the initial stake, max £50) on any in-play market, which will be refunded if it loses. You cannot say fairer than that.

    The teams;

Man Utd: De Gea, Smalling, Jones, Evans, Evra, Nani, Fletcher, Anderson, Young, Rooney, Hernandez

Subs: Lindegaard, Berbatov, Giggs, Park, Carrick, Fabio Da Silva, Valencia

Chelsea: Cech, Bosingwa, Ivanovic, Terry, Cole, Ramires, Meireles, Lampard, Sturridge, Torres, Mata

Subs: Turnbull, Luiz, Romeu, Mikel, Malouda, Lukaku, Anelka

    Referee: Phil Dowd (Staffordshire)

    Match Odds

United were 10/11 (1.9) this morning, that has drifted to a current quote of 2.06.

Ladbrokes layed Chelsea at 4/1, so the Blues have been matched at a high of 5.0 on the magic machine. The current offer is just 4.0.

The draw has been steady at around 5/2 (Currently 3.65)

    First Half Summary

    3-0 (Smalling 8, Nani 37, Rooney 45)

End to end stuff. United were the slower starters but opened the scoring against the run of play with Smalling getting on the end of an Ashley Young free kick.

Sturridge and Ramires both missed decent chances for Chelsea before a thunderbolt from Nani gave United a two goal cushion and then on the stroke of Half Time Rooney killed the match.

It's going to be a long second half for this Chelsea side who look particularly easy to score against, pose little threat from midfield and have a comedy act up front.

I had a tenner at 66/1 Man U to win 4-2, but if there are to be six goals in this game United will probably score them all! On the plus side the Bet365 offer was a good'un for the overs markets.

    United are quality
