  • Switzerland v England

I have no psychic powers and am not confident of these predictions being accurate. For those who have recovered from the comatose state induced by watching England's last game, I offer the following as "things to be considered".

    (i) the big fat useless lump known as Rooney ( yes, he who runs around doing sod all for Man Utd ) is captain. It will be too much for him and I feel he is bound to lose his rag,

(ii) Switzerland were well disciplined and performed commendably in the World Cup,

(iii) Joe Hart almost "made a booboo" in the last game but managed to get away with it. He is a good player but is prone to doing daft things,

So, Rooney will be shown a card, and England will lose. Switzerland will be well pleased with 1 - 0 but, if Hart and Rooney screw up, there could well be Over 2.5 goals.

I have tried without success to find out who the officials are tonight. Over 9 points in cards is the shortest price and this is my recommended bet for tonight. Hopefully, Hart and Rooney can win this bet for me on their own.

Rooney or no Rooney England are nailed on for a lay of 3.5 goals which I did last night. Few scalps and a swing. Happy days!

I had it all wrong. It would be nice to see an enjoyable game of football one day. I'm lucky that the rugby season has started well, made some money and was entertaining.

I didn't see the game so can't comment, but when was the last time you enjoyed an England match? I can remember us beating Holland 4-0 or 4-1 but that was a while ago now.
I'm sticking with golf at the mo, great stuff.
