Here's a lift which tells us a little about this player Pedro Figueiredo.
Turned pro now and is playing on home soil...That don't mean much 'cos he done a lot of his work in the US. However being back in Portugal should get him going a bit.
The betting......22/1 top 10.....79/1 top 5......
And a generous.........989/1 winner market....I'm on that ..and good luck to him...
Figueiredo first came to international attention as a 14-year-old when he reached the fifth round of the 2004 Boys’ Amateur Championship at Conwy, Wales. Four years later he won the championship. He also won the Irish Boys’ Championship in 2008 and reached the quarterfinals of the Amateur Championship. Figueiredo was heavily sought after by US colleges, but settled on UCLA. The Portuguese Amateur ended the 2011/12 season by finishing second in the NCAA D1 Central Regional Championship and 13th in the NCAA Championship. He qualified for the match play stages of the Amateur Championship at Royal Troon, before losing in the fourth round.
