1M race, fav ( Desert Vision marked with RED )starts 1.25..

Through 4F mark, jockey falls on the fav. Shoots to 1000. Around 500 euros trades there..

Market is in chaos , both 2nd and 3rd fav hits 1.0ish odds immediately.

There is a more chaotic finish, 3rd fav comes to win from odds @150.

What is more dramatic, somebody hits Desert Vision to 1.20s on the finish line accidentally.. I wish I was one of the ones that could hedge my back of 1000`s on that horse!!!

    Crazy!

I saw that race, the odds went mad! I just got out of a lay on the 2nd fav when the commentator said 'Desert Vision has broken down.' I nearly had a huge loss.
I saw Desert Vision's odds below 2.0 right at the end, I thought he'd stormed back to win. It was very weird :WTF

I was trading and looking this race too. and I was (again as many times before) happy that I changed 1 year ago from "lay to back" to "back to lay".
I was on the horse that finished third, and when the fav went down and so all prices of the remaining horses too, I had a nice profit.

[QUOTE=helplessone;98663I changed 1 year ago from "lay to back" to "back to lay". [/QUOTE]

Whenever I think of money management, which isn't as often as it should be, I think changing to 'back to lay' would be a sensible move. I was only seconds away from having a £10 lay at 11.0 come crashing down to below 2.0. It would have been a £50 (or very possibly £100) loss, all for an £1 gain. I'll change one day .

Well , you have a point guys. I am totally on the other side whereas I was laying everything under 1.30 this race. Got matched on all 3, made some filthy green but another thing was to back over@50 the winner just 2 seconds before the finish line..

For that, I cant guess while watching the race and dont wanna gamble too much
