  • Exposure error message in multi bet tool

    Hi,

When I am dutching using the multi bet tool I am getting an error saying that my exposure or available balance is exceeded, even though it is not. Thus, some of the bets don't get placed.
For example: trying to back 12 horses out of 12 runners with available balance of 1,000 EUR and a 'Total Stake' on the multi bet tool selected for 980 EUR.
As the bets start to get sent out it gives me an error message as I am exceeding my available balance which is impossible since I am backing.

    Thank you

That message isn't the application, but comes from Betfair.

What % of your bank are you using as a stake?

    What's new in version 1.2

Almost all of it. Say, if i have a 1000, i will try and do it with 900. Why would this matter if I am backing? It does it in training mode too. It does it at one moment and in the next if I try again it is fine. Could it have anything to do with the 'Global settings, 'Staking and Tools' and the 'Tick offset' and 'Kill or fill' in the multi bet tool?

      Thanks

It actually does it in training mode even with a bank of 1000 and a 'Total Stake" selected for 700.

I am not able to replicate this here. Does this happen to you every time, or just some of the time?

It happens sometimes. It could be that I try to dutch and few bets get the warning message and thus don't get send, then if I try 5 seconds later it goes fine...it is a hit and miss...very strange.

I forgot to mention that I am selecting the 'Lay' side on the top even though I am backing aka trying to get my back bets filled at the lay price.

This has happened before and the solution is to ensure that the whole of the bank is not used. I can't remember the figure but am reasonably sure that a safe figure was 95%. Everything is down to Betfair.

If Temujin reads this, he will remember more than me because I think he offered an explanation at the time.

The training mode figures should be ignored in their entirety as no real bets are placed and it always allows 100% placing of bets.

Even in training mode and using less then 95% stll causing the ptoblem. Must be some setting or the fact that i am using the lay prices to back.
