If you can see the forums on start up then best guess is something is screwy with Adobe reader. Try a re-install of that. -
The thing is that when i click on my account balance after having brought up the blank window,
my betfair account details appear in the same window.......
I will do an Adobe re-install to see if that cures it and post again if etc etc..Comment

That window is just an embedded IE browser. What you describe suggests an issue with Adobe.Comment

Yes, sorted now thanks, i done an Adobe re-install and everything is working now.
On the account page i can't download my history,
that didn't work before i reinstalled Adobe and still doesn't now,
i always have to do it from the betfair site,
is that a known issue?

When i click on 'Get History' an Internet Explorer window opens and then another box opens saying
'Your session has timed out through inactivity or you have not logged in'.Comment

I have got IE7, it is definately 7, i had to check coz i never use it,
this is my 500th post by the way, do i get a car sticker or something.............!!

I have just upgraded to IE9 and that didn't work,
still can't download my history through AGT,
I know you said IE8, would a downgrade to 8 be of use or could there be another issue,
it's no biggie, i can live with it now i need to get a life, ha haComment

Dunno why it doesn't work. And as you are the first one with the issue in 18 months & a work around exists, you have about as much chance of me fixing it as Blagger giving me a hug.
