  • Betfair Graphs/increase refresh

    Hi,

is it possible to increase the refresh of the betfair graphs of the toy by editing the xml-files? The maximum is about once per 10 seconds and would like something like once per second to try something out for inrunning....thanks in advance

You can set them in the xml files however Betfair only update them every 15 seconds I believe, so they are not that reliable.

Also they use a lot of bandwidth.

    What's new in version 1.2

Thanks TG...where exactly do i find the settings...I looked at graph options and graph display options, but wasn`t sure which value it is I have to change and don`t want to jeopardise the files...

I am trying to do this also... but can't find the exact option. Any idea where to locate it?

        Thanks!

If you want to increase/decrease the refresh rate, then right-click over the betfair graph and the option appears in 'Auto-Refresh'

You could always set up an advanced chart to emulate the Betfair graph, thus giving a vastly increased refresh rate ...

But that only allows for a minimum of 10 secs in the case of the Betfair graph.

The problem with that approach is that, unless you have the market open since its inception, you will lose historical info. And even then, you have a max of 900 I think that you can chart (although this could be change also, I guess).

I have a graph set up for short term analysis, but I also always have the betfair chart available and that one I'd like to refresh like every 5 secs.

Thank you both very much for answering!
