Multiple "Winner" markets in Horse Racing

Betfair have recently added some more markets which is leading to multiple "winner" markets appearing in the market navigator

I have only selected "Winner" in the market display but because the market display does not know about these new markets it is including them

The new markets are evident at Kelso and windsor today and are "Winning Stall" On Saturday some markets had THREE winners with "4TBP" also appearing.

Can something be done about this? I thought I saw it reported before (different new markets) but cannot find that thread.

This is as a result of Betfair introducing new market types. I can only do it as and when I am made aware of them as Betfair don't let me know this. If you come across them, report them here and we will sort it.

A data release patch for the "Winning Stall" market type has been released today so this should show correctly next time you start TT.

In the meantime, the actual Winner Market should display 1st in the list of multiples.

I will let you know when I see others as I am very active on these markets.

As mentioned on Saturday they had a "four to be placed" field 4TBP - this may be a one-off due to the large fields at Doncaster or it may reappear. The Winning Stalls seems here to stay though.

UPDATE : just restarted the tool but still not resolved. Presume it can take some time for data patch to cascade? Will report back if not fixed tomorrow

Hmmm

On my home PC - VISTA (use in the evenings) ... this data patch "took" immediately

on my laptop - XP (use during the day) ... this data patch has not taken

I removed AGT and reinstalled ... no change.


any idea on how I can force a data refresh in XP?

The application checks for and then attempts to download a new data patch when it starts up. I will abort after 10-15 seconds if unsuccessful.

Try shutting down and re-starting the application on your laptop a couple of times.

Failing that, you will find a file called BetfairLive.mdb in the folder above your Settings 1.1 directory. Copy it from your desktop to your laptop. { For details on accessing your Settings 1.1 directory click here. }

Another new "WINNER" market has appeared -- on the 4.10 new market - Thursday

It simply says "16:10 Newmarket - Forecast" (i.e. not Reverse or Straight).

possibly a one-off but thought I would report it.
