  • Increasing the value of tick offset

I have used the tick offset, however I noticed that the maximum number of tick corresponds to 20. I wonder if it is possible to increase this value?

seems like nobody thought someone ever need more than 20 ticks

Read here first about locating / editing your settings files......

      http://geekstoy.com/forum/showthread.php?t=828

      Then....

      1. Shut down the toy.
      2. In your settings folder there is a file called BetToolsDropListOptions.xml open it in notepad.
      3. The contents of the tick offset menu are located in this file. Change the values to what you want, add some rows if you need too.
      4. Save the file, then start the toy.

Still on tick offset I have another question. When the tick offset stake is matched, is matched with a value equal to the first bet. My question is whether it is possible to put a stake through the tick offset that makes the automatic hedge.
For example, I do a lay that is matched, automatically is put back a stake in a number of tick above that when matched automatically make the hedge.
          Thanks.

so here is the problem thanks for an advice.
but could you please tell me how and where to paste it in 'my computer'?
when I click 'explore' on 'my computer' it just opens that folder, there is no space to paste anything.

                        --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The xml files can be found at this location.

                        WIN XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\AGeeksToy\AGeeksToy\Settings 1.1

                        Vista & WIN 7: C:\ProgramData\AGeeksToy\AGeeksToy\Settings 1.1

These folders are hidden by default in Windows so to access them you need to paste the above link into the address bar of Windows Explorer or Microsoft Internet Explorer.

My understanding is that , if you make a mess of things, you will have to delete all XML files before uninstalling and reinstalling the Toy , but I could be wrong. Just be careful. Use Windows Explorer as Windows XP is different other later versions of Windows.

Use Internet Explorer. It acts like Windows Explorer in other versions. If files are hidden, change the options in the "view" section.
