Geekstoy not working following re-installation of windows 7

hello,

i have just moved & re-installed my windows (7) onto an SSD drive.

I have reinstalled geektoy (lifetime licence bought) from your websitre & now i cannot seem to log onto BF via the toy. the software loads as normal, but when i try to log in i get the following screen & it just hangs. normally it would re-route me to the 2 step authentication & i'd log in from there.

i've tried unistalling & re-installing it, but its the same.

i have had this issue pre installing / turning on a firewall.

anyone had any similar issues & have a fix ? its driving me a bit nuts.

Does it get stuck there? Does it fail to login? Sometimes the welcome page fails to load but the software is able to continue.

I would turn off all firewalls (some anti-virus have firewalls too) just for testing, if it works you need to find the rules blocking it and adjust them accordingly.

yep- all resolved now.

seems there was some kind of conflict in the registry due to an old version of norton (or something along those lines) that affected the new installation of windows. a bit of youtubing & i've managed to sort it.
