  • Percentage Offset

    Good Afternoon,

Is there anyway that I can automate a percentage offset please? For example, if I am doing a lay to back, I wish to automate to take 50% profit hedged or 150% loss hedged? Save me having to be at my screen on a lovely sunny afternoon !! Can somebody please kindly explain how I do that profit and loss offset, or if it is not possible? Thanks so much.

TGT does not have a feature that does exactly what you say but that doesn't mean it can't do what you need

%offset is basically a tick offset where you know the % of each tick in relation to your stake and the price of entry. You can easily do the math, program it in a excel spreadsheet or, ultimately if you really hate math, place a first bet of say £10 at your desired price of entry, visually count how many ticks give you 50% profit and how many for the 150% loss, close that bet, set up the "tick offset" and "stop loss" at the "staking & tools" feature and place your intended bet.

If you don't know where "Staking & tools" are: right click TGT header, "Show/Hide"->"Staking & Tools".

    Hope this helps.

    Good trades!
