Avoid lagging in Geekstoy

Hey!

I do a lot of inplay trading so price refresh time is quite important, however especially on the UK afternoon racing I will get lag even if I only display one market as soon as I put price refresh lower than 200ms.
If I want to display 2 or more markets I will have to put price refresh up to half a second or so.
Is this the same for everyone? Any settings that you noticed could help reduce lag?
I have a good gaming computer and fibre internet so it shouldnt be for that, sometimes costs me a lot to big delays in placing or cancelling bets or even just not having up to date price refresh.

its betfair api fault something wrong with my settings??

I prefer the 20ms refresh but often it lags and freezes so I untick stream prices and use 200ms. I think the problem is BF as it happens at different times, and usually 3pm on a Saturday.

I feel like i see everything later than it happens and it is very difficult to read the market as i can't see what amounts are being matched! I have had this problem in the past and it ussually just goes away! Is this betfair fault or my connection or do i need a new computer?It' just really frustrating.

In play or pre-race lag? How many calls per seconds do you have for GT? I use 40. I have lag also from time to time, mostly Saturday and it's from betfair Sometimes it can lag because I have other stuff opened on my computer, it's pretty old ~6 years, Intel i3, 8 gb ram, but still doing the work

Maybe it's from your computer if it's an old one, intrnet speed also it's important

Try to set more calls per second. 30 or 40 if you have less

i put the limit on 50 doesnt seem to matter what limit i set as long as its higher than the needed calls per second
for inplay trading its a bit bad needing to put a slow refresh time...
