trading from south east asia

I am going to travel South east asia and wonder that the ping to trade. especially in Cambodia and Viet Nam. So what should I do to improve the ping. Can I get improvement by using vpn uk or strong computer like server and good internet connection. And What should I do for my Geeks Toy setting to improve ping or reduce ping

Ping time is gonna be least of your problems imho. Good internet connection is really hard to come by on those parts of Asia, it's not super stable and you'll be losing some of data packets. Outside major cities electricity sometimes is also kind of jumpy... Don't think that its possible to reduce ping time, you can use UK vpn server, so at least you wont be losing any data or connection between BF and GT, but distance and load of crappy server between you and UK vpn is still gonna slow things down a lot. In any case I wouldn't expect anything better than 300ms+ and occasional freeze outs..

How about vps, does it improve ping, what should i do to improve ping and stablize the ping

Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos are probably non-starters for pre-race trading horses. Slower, less volatile markets like football may be possible. Internet connections will be at their best in Internet shops and upmarket hotels but you can expect to pay to use their services. Gambling is illegal in some countries and is controlled by the government in some others so expect possible problems if you are found out.

I can get away with football trading in Thailand but only because I know the country pretty well and know what to do. I would advise you to research in depth all the countries you intend visiting to gain an appreciation of their cultures. Corruption is rife and there are surprising differences in behaviour. A strange example - sex in Bangkok is easy, but have sex with a woman in Laos out of wedlock and you risk a visit to prison.

I haven't been to Vietnam but would advise you to give trading a miss in Thailand, Laos and Cambodia.

So you only trade football in these countries. I just like to trade pre race, how about ping, can u post video ping time so I can see how market react .

Nearly everybody in the UK and the rest of Europe are having, and are likely to have, difficulties with ping. We cannot take measures to improve the situation and no number of VPS thingies will make any difference. Only football for me in Thailand, absolute waste of time doing anything with horse racing.

Please bear in mind that I am relatively settled by location when I am in Thailand and I can do things that people who are moving around cannot do. If you lived in Thailand and had a permanent location you could work to improve your Betfair connection but as a traveller you have no chance.

I only use Betfair abroad if I am going to a bar to watch the game on TV. You will find that there is more fun to be had in South East Asia than that provided by trading.
