slow internet connection

Hello i am from Vietnam, my internet connection is slow, my ping to betfair is about 500. i trade horse racing inplay only.Please take a look at my geeks toy API, may i ask you, do i have disavantage over other trader who trade horse inplay?

Hi iam also from viet nam but i live in Canada, what time are u trding in viet nan and what type of internet are u trading? Adsl?

hello, i am using Viettel fiber cable, my trading time daily is about 8PM-12PM (GMT +7)

I trade pre race mainly. In Canada, the ping from 158 to 178ms for wifi. What is your ping in prerace and you trade through wifi or ethernet?, For 500ms I think this is difficult but not impossible to trade, I think this is better to use FPT, you can check your ping by pingtest.net. My friend said that this is about 233 ms from Sai Gon to UK.

i am going to use VPS service from VDC, do you think the Ping is improved?

Can you tell me the pingtest from your location to uk server by pingtest.com, and are you using wifi or ethernet cable.Eventhough you use vps you still get disadvantage ping. You can check on forum. They already explained why and two thing you can do to Improve ping is tell your isp to direct your route to uk sever and improve optic fibre capacity.

one more thing that, i think you can only improve it maximum at less than 300ms that is tradable ping, u need to stabilize that number. If you can keep it STABLE, SO nothing much changes from 280 to 320 ms " I suppose"
