Hello,
Sorry if this has been discussed before. If it has I haven't seen the thread. I'm very new to the software and I am still finding my way around it.
I've watched several of the You Tube videos (Pro Ladder Explained, Parts 1, 2 and 3; How To Set Up A Profile...etc) but I'm still scratching my head on a few (quite a few) issues.
Firstly I don't know if I'm watching the videos in the right sequence? After watching the Introduction video, followed by the Pro Ladder explained and so on, I thought I'd open the software and try a few dabbles in training mode.
One question, where (or how) can you close out a trade before an event starts? In watching Pro Ladder Part 3, the narrator closed out a trade about 5mins; 14 seconds into the video. How is that done?
Closing out a trade (before the start of a race) has also been mentioned in the "Scalping Betfair For Consistent Profits" video.
The videos on the YouTube page are helpful to a certain degree but I don't know if I've missed an important one or jumped too far ahead as they appear on the right hand side of the YouTube page quite randomly.
Also, for example with the Scalping video there is a lot of clicking going on so plenty of back and lay trades are being made. The P&L column is constantly changing, sometimes from red to green or vice-versa but for instance there is no explanation as to what to do to turn red into green. Several (too quick to follow or understand) clicks later and the odds are back into green. How did that happen?
I can see the gurus making money from this but how long before a novice can realistically start making money? Is there any "Dummies Guide To Your First Trade" type advice to take a look at?
Apologies for the rambling message but I really want to crack this as I can see a great opportunity unfolding.
Thanks
