A glowing review from a first time poster, ummmm.

Smarties' just seem to have an inhouse bot mirroring betfair's prices to a set liability, when Betfair went down recently all their prices disappeared
Don't think there's any real money there at all. The interface is crap , you haven't a clue about reduction prices etc They'll need to make some inroads into the markets soon as that $1million won't last long with the amount of staff they seem to have.

Or maybe because you work for them

Haha so funny, Mr Geek. I know it is your site, but why do you modify my post? I did not post about Smarties, and you know that. If it's not allowed to post about Betfair competition on your site, just tell me and I won't do it.
Very disappointed you seem to have just sided with Betfair, without even considering that others might also have a viable solution. OK, Smarkets may go under. But so might Betfair - - have you seen their latest share price? Betfair care a damn about their customers, and eventually that will come home to roost them (I have been paying them tens of thouands of commission for many years, so I feel qualified to comment on how they treat their customers). Smarkets might become a viable competitor to Betfair - and then it will be good to be on their side with the GeeksToy. But I seem to be wasting my breath here, so good bye!

today they have proved once again that they aren't the best.
market suspended time and again in russian game, I backed under 2.5 and it was 0-2 in 84 min so wanted to lay it off cuz of late goal, it was suspended for 2 or 3 minutes and at the same ref gave red card and penalty..
Can't beleive it tbh, they are thieves.

Actually, Smarkets are OK. I have used them quite a lot in the last couple of months. On the plus side 1% commission and no premium charge, decent customer support (the owners often post on some of the gambling forums, answering question etc) and prices are usually the same as Betfair.
On the negative side, they dont have anything like the number of Markets that Betfair cover, paticually the US markets like Baseball, basket ball and Ice Hockey, but they are adding new markets all the time. Most of the Liquidity is provided by a 3rd party market maker. I found the laying side of things confusing at first, as you are laying liability, not stake, but you get used to it.
No use at all really for trading, as you cant use the Toy, but excellent for arbing, and match betting, the difference between 5% and 1%, is the difference between a profitable arb and no arb at all.
If you are going to use Smarkets, just remember deposit and withdraw via DEBIT CARD, all other methods involve a charge of around 2%. All in all they are a usefull 2nd string to your bow, after Betfair
