Hello all having just watched the Hangover (classic film) and the new Johnny Depp one Public Enemies (not so classic)i`am in need of some other films that i can download comedy or action if any one can recommend any i would really appreciate it cheers all.

Depends, there's a lot of good stuff in the thread about best movies on Chit Chat. Especially if you like Jack Nicholson.

Remember giggling to Don't Mess With The Zohan recently, thought that had its moments but it's very much a matter of taste. Others around me thought it puerile.

Films I've downloaded and watched recently:

The Taking of Pelham 123, predictable but enjoyable, Dezil Washington and John Travolta both great in it.

The Time Travellers Wife, quite interesting if not a little on the soppy side for a bloke. Still liked it though, just for being different.

44 Inch Chest, Brit flick with great direction and quality acting. Ray Winstone is some actor, I got a bit bored half way through though, it went a bit weird.

Inglorious Basterds, I saw this a the cinema in the summer but its out on dvd now, loved it.

I'm of the opinion its been a bit of a shocking year for films, hopefully this year is better...

Inglorious Basterds, I saw this a the cinema in the summer but its out on dvd now, loved it.

Seen it the other day thought it was a very good film especially where they do a bit of scalping.

the hamiltons - horror (good and original)
white out - action
whip it - comdey, drama
universal soldier - action
sorority row - horror, thriller
zombieland - comdey (very funny)
the invention of lying - comedy, drama (interesting movie)
couples retreat - comedy, drama

can't remember the rest, I watch 1-2 movies per day :P

When I heard they were making this I was a bit "UGH" but I must admit the trailer looks superb, might go and check it out. cheers.

The Hangover - very funny, deffo worth a watch!

The Firm - Best Tom Cruise film I have seen, good story line

The International - quite good, some daft bits but overall enjoyable and makes you think what might be going on in the world

Role Models - shit

Notorious - was very surprised by how good this was

Defiance - not the greatest film about the war I have ever seen but watchable

Appaloosa - action film that was again an enjoyable watch

Changeling - I was not expecting much from this film but was very much surprised and would recommend a watch

City of God/Elite Squad/Bus 174 - all along the same lines and all worth watching

Superbad - hilarious - enough said!
