Ok what is your honest opinion - in this particular case can this price be the real one? It can't even be reached ?!
The odds of succes dramaticly improve with each attempt

So are the BSPs bugged sometimes or they are right every time ?!
The 5.5 you're quoting is just the "In running " price it has nothing to do with the pre off market. In fact the horse traded at a high of 6.8 pre off and I'd imagine the price just before the off and BSP was reconciled was around 5.8.

As soon as the market's goes in running it's an entirely new market and I guess the horse got off to a blinder and therefore never traded higher than 5.5 in running.

If I could be sure every winning horse would trade in running at the bsp or higher I'd be a rich man

        1st - you are a rich man.
2nd - I was there too, I watched that horse, in 00:00 Before the off the price were 4.00 - 4.10, I don't know maybe the price Jumped to 6.4 for the 30 seconds after that!
3rd - It's not the 1st time I see this! A couple of times the price is much higher in the BSP than it has to be, I remember even to see a start and the BSP were still much higher, never reached by the horse. I just showed that link because I was sure for this one and its happens not for 1st time! I am not going to bet on these horses, I just wonder how did this hapen, the pre-off trade is much lower but the BSP is much higher, the price in the trading never reach it!

From that Betfair explanation it sounds to me it may be something to do with unmatched money on the lay side.
