  • In your face indicators

I’d like to make a suggestion, from what I can gather about the new toy it can be user definable so what do people think of this idea.
Imagine a thermometer, we all know how that works, neutral background with red stuff that indicates the current temperature. A greenhouse thermometer leaves behind a marker which indicates the highest and lowest readings.

Ok lets look at market indicators, WOM ,POM , MA any of these are used to estimate the possible direction of the market. Whether they work for you or not doesn’t really matter if these indicators can be user defined.
In a ladder format the central column with the prices in is usually grey, this column is not used for anything but is central in your view.
How would it be if say wom indicated downward pressure then all space above the current price offer where coloured red in that column, if the wom changed to indicate upward movement then the space beneath the current offer would become red indicating upward pressure. Maybe this could be configured to use any indicator the user required.

It may also be interesting to use the greenhouse thermometer idea to leave a darker square at the highest and lowest traded points whilst the runner has been monitored.

If this has been dismissed already then I apologise in advance, it’s difficult to get the idea across in words but it is worth a thought.

May not be for the experienced trader but a reference point for those starting out….

    Similar idea..

Iwas thinking along similar lines but perhPs shading the prices slightly differently to show the highest and lowest points where decent money has been traded ! Ie 1000's down to high 100's etc you'd beable to see the prices where most of the action is taking place or marker lines On a chart along the same principle !!

Yes & it shades it too. Darker shade = more traded.

Yes. There is an extra column for traded volume & as well as displaying the amounts traded, it shades them, so you can instantly see where all the money is matched.
