    Tick Offset – this automatically places the counter bet to your initial bet at the number of ticks set in the Tick Offset tool. For example, you lay a selection at 2.0 for £100 with tick offset set at 10 ticks. A back bet of £100 would then automatically be placed at 2.20. There are 2 options for fill or kill. Partial & Full. Partial will place counter bets as & when bits of the bet gets matched. Full will wait until the bet is completely matched before placing the counter bet. To switch between Full & Partial, simply click on the text.

    As The Geek said in post above....

    See the help for the "Staking & Tools" control.

              Bet Angel Course

              Yes I did go on the course, and it was £400. It was interesting and informative, but just to much to take in on one day. Your better putting £400 into your betfair account and learning by the old fashion trial and error. Some people come from all round the world for the course. There is no fast way to making money and overall applying the methods brought me very little, with the chance of more losses. The people who make the real money actually direct the market and put in fake bets for a false sence of security. Once people take the bet, the trader pulls the fake bets and wraps up with massive profits. Thats how you hear about big winners. Course, fuel, overnight stay, cost of program £600 first month, I would advise not to do course, I am a qualified accountant, so figures are my game, give it a go to get it out of your system, but unfortunately, if you want fast money dont trade on the exchanges. Lose only waht you can afford, because you will lose over and over. Remember you need about £400 in your account, so if you dont have that much, dont subscribe to the program. Remember to lay a bet for £2 @15-1, your at risk of losing £30, to gain £2.

                Course was so so not worth £400

                Course rating 5 outta 10

                Pros: Big manual which does contain info which could take months of money/time to figure out on your own
                points you in the right direction as a begginer when there is so much info floating about
                filled my curiosity

                cons: He never showed us 1 live trade how he does it, even though he said he would
                Cost - £400 for manual as he didnt show us anything the manual didnt tell you.
                no after support, i emailed him asking him a question which he also avoided on the course and i didnt hear back

                So! i have been on the course last May 09 as i had the whole summer to trade.

                My initial thoughts when i left the day course were fairly positive and was desperate to try out the new techiques Peter Webb told us. I got home and started trading the evening races and the market was doing exactly what he said it would do and i thought wow this really is easy money. Then gradully over the next few days i realised every race is different and the info he gave was only applicable to a small % of scenarios across the board. However in general it was still correct what he told us.

                On the positive side he does cover across the board racing scenarios but i think he gives you the tip of the ice berg and then its up to you to join the dots and work it all out for yourself. Even after 2 months of trading everyday i didnt work it out. And im not stupid.!!

                I had the summer off to do this and i still didnt manage to put it all together due to the amount of different racing scenarios and how you have to alter your technique for each.

                I found like every beginner i could make small and strad profits throught the day and then when 1 race goes wrong and against you (which is bound to happen at least 1 in 15 races) you lose the days profits. This can get you down after a while when you trade and concentrate so hard only for it 2 be wiped out in a matter of minutes. Im not talking big money just hard to be consistant in every race every day.

                I was hoping i may be the next Adam heathecote and if you thinking the same you could well be but the chances are your NOT. He has a natural ability to read the markets and therefore knows exactly when to enter and exit the markets and he has managed to tune that to perfection over the last couple of years.

                On a plus note the course filled my curiosity about trading and how easy or hard it is and has given me a strating point in a very long race. Its NOT worth £400 however due to winning £400 i thought it was worth it and not out my own pocket.

                I personally didnt find the Tennis and Soccer very informative.

                        Peter Webb Betting Exchange Trading Masterclass

                        I've seen several comments about Peter Webb, both in this forum and elsewhere. I thought I'd say that yesterday, having paid £400 for the privilege, I attended Peter's trading masterclass near Basingstoke.

                        It was an intensive, well-produced course that covered a lot of ground in a day and I think most traders would benefit from the day. I must stress that I have no connection with Peter or his business. In preparation for the course I paid for a month's trial of his Bet Angel software but personally I prefer the Geek's Toy which is much more configurable so I'll let my BD trial lapse.

                        Peter doesn't say if you do this, this, and this you'll be a millionaire but he does share a lot of information that has clearly taken him years to acquire over thousands of trades. Some of his trading techniques would never have occurred to me and yet appear to give a definite edge in trading profitably and reducing losses. I'll report back again when I've had the chance to put what I've learnt into practice.

                          so he talked about it, did he actually do any live trades putting these "techniques" into practice? as most people i have read that have been
                          on these courses said he does'nt and as they say talk is cheap or in the case of this course it is not.

                            Yes he did numerous live trades during the day. Most of the morning was theory backed up with some videos of him trading earlier and a couple of live trades to demonstrate a point where he opened trades but didn't even wait to see if they would get matched (but when he returned later they had been matched profitably).

                            In the afternoon session with the horse racing in progress he did several live trades in the market and I didn't see him make a single loss. There's no doubt in my mind that he really does 'walk the walk'.

                            Some of the strategies, for example on football ('soccer'), weren't demonstrated live but were backed up with plenty of slides of Betfair graphs and screens to illustrate how effective they are.

                            I can understand why people might be sceptical about spending so much money on a day's course but I really thought it was good value and I plan to recoup my course fee from the numerous trading methods he taught. The guy is just a serious Betfair enthusiast. You can tell he doesn't need the money but he trades every day because he loves the challenge. At the end he even showed us a spreadsheet of an idea he's got for the greyhounds. It just automatically traded £2 stakes and showed a small loss and he was quite happy to admit it was an experiment he's still working on.

                              It will be interesting to hear in a few months whether you still have the same Euphoria, as I have been told before people feel empowered when the leave the course, only to be very disappointed later on when they realise that they still can't make a dime.

                              I don't think there is anybody here who doubts Peters ability as a trader, and I'm sure with the length of time he has been around he does extremely well. What I personally have the issue with is the man himself and the lengths he has gone to historically to deceive people into parting with their cash, and rather sneakily sticking the knife into the various other players in the market using nearly anonymous forum handles. { Well that & sending me threatening emails when I had him by the nuts with pinsticker. }

                              As for the course content I can't comment as I haven't been. From what I have heard to date though, advertising something as a "Masterclass" then packing people 20 to a room & charging them £400 for what is basically a sales pitch for Bet Angel is pretty poor value to me. { £1 says not once did he mention other products which may have been better suited to participants needs. }

                              Still if people are stupid enough to pay him simply for the pleasure of running shoulders with their deity, then it's worth every penny! { more fool them though }

                              What's new in version 1.2

                                Maybe he's changed the course contents in response to the wave of critisism he has received in the past? Has anyone else been recently and has an opinion?
                                Tough times don't last. Tough people do.
