Its good for old websites too.
I have no idea, but by magic the caches for the entire pinsticker blog & Peter Webbs original "Snake Oil" post are no longer available to access. Probably just another coincidence then.

I pulled them as they related to our first time poster who never was, so the thread didn't make sense.

This is way too confusing for old people like me. Men who don't exist making posts ? Whatever next ?

After doing some research...found that Betfair did an “Academy”
which was designed to teach people how to explain and demonstrate Betfair.
              I went there...

              1. During the day, the group was recommended to Peter Webb's academy
if we were interested in some of the stuff that we had been discussing,
so I scribbled the Bet Angel name down!

              a noob's re-visioned questions

              1 = Truth or Lie ?

If it is a lie, is it a filthy lie?
              If it is true then...?

p.s Revision (& Performance-Feedback) is kindly provided by TheSurgeon in another thread

Hi i looked at BD last year and attempted to contact them to fnd out the content of the course.

They replied saying they dont return phonecalls and all the info is on their website.

Er no it isnt .... how am supposed to made an informed decision without knowing what they are covering stupid, so i sent them a snotty e-mail.

The Geek has many advantages over BD and BT, esp arond multi-markets and greening up.

I actually prefer the look and feel of the Geek over BA, but it does miss some features like the Stop Loss, TSL, Lay Dutching, Bookmaking Functions, Fill and Kill, Tick Offset.

I am currently testing the BA, and its a cumbersome old beast IMHO.

If we were able to combine the features of the BD above, with the look and feel of the Geek I would die happy.

I still prefer to trade "in play" soccer with the Geek as I did tonight but when it comes to the horses I do like the BD fill and kill features.

However, user error is more possible with BD due to its comlexiity.

Ive put the horses to one side after some early success over last 2 weeks while I do some more reading so will see if the Geek will work the hosses for me.

                I love the Geek

The Toy does already have fill or kill & tick offset. See the help for the "Staking & Tools" control.

Below is text from The Toy's help.....

Tick Offset – this automatically places the counter bet to your initial bet at the number of ticks set in the Tick Offset tool. For example, you lay a selection at 2.0 for £100 with tick offset set at 10 ticks. A back bet of £100 would then automatically be placed at 2.20. There are 2 options for fill or kill. Partial & Full. Partial will place counter bets as & when bits of the bet gets matched. Full will wait until the bet is completely matched before placing the counter bet. To switch between Full & Partial, simply click on the text.

As The Geek said in post above....

See the help for the "Staking & Tools" control.

It's not a "partial tick". The ticks are the same as before but different amounts of stake, "parts", are set to be backed at different tick offsets. All too fancy for me

Partial tick is when let say...you place back order £100@2.2......

                                you have partial tick enabled....

from your back order was taken £30....and TT place lay order £30@2.0.......

later from back order was taken £50....TT lays £50@2.0.....and so on.....sorry if still not clear
