I've started this thread for general discussion round Geeks Toy and Matchbook so we can keep the beta thread for resolving any issues that crop up.

We are in discussions with Matchbook in relation to NET win accounts similar to Betfair & Betdaq comission structure for geeks toy users. Will update you when we know anything certain.

I think that this is an great news overall even with the Matchbook charging commision on losing trades as well as winning ones but when thinking of premium charge and high commision of Betfair's the Matchbook's comission aint that bad at all. I mean Betfair desperately needs real competition and I think this is good step into that direction since atleast in my mind the biggest reason for not using Matchbook all that much has been the absence of trading programs like GeeksToy and the low ammount of markets in football (not even correct score in play) and the low ammount of matches that go in live betting. Obviously the last two are still a problem but maybe someday they have been improved aswell...

Congratulations, great job, as always.
I did yesterday 2 games to test and in both games the Matchbook charge 1% in each entry.
Example lay al Real Madrid 2:50 and then back to 2.60 (pay 2 times 1%)
The Matchbook considers each entry as a new bet and not trading.
Betfair pay the 6.5% at the end of the game if we profit
Matchbook charges on each transaction.
This problem should be resolved to increase the number of followers in Matchbook and so were all happy.
I am waiting for answer

PS - Great to see new partnerships in the exchange world, caught everyone napping
Would have been out months ago but we've had our hands full with the effing migration to Betfairs new API.
I'm sure it won't take Peter too many months to do a version now we have, as although in his words he'd probably have to pay people to use Matchbook, experience has taught me he really hates with a passion being perceived as second at anything.

We don't have that feature available at the moment I'm afraid.
There may be some users on the forum here that can validate these claims, but the pre-match liquidity on Matchbook, especially for the major leagues, is as good, if not better, than other exchanges the majority of the time.
Best thing to do is check out the markets for yourself.
Thanks,

The date for horse-racing has been pushed back now, and it will be closer to the end of the year before it is available.
We'll definitely be launching it with UK & Irish racing, and would like to offer Australian as well. We'll keep the forum posted as these plans evolve during the year.
Thanks,
Mike
