Hi Everyone.

I'm new to trading but been a punter for years.

I plan to start serious trade during the Christmas/New year holidays when there is loads of meetings and I'm off work. Is this a good time to have a right good go at it?

Also, Is there a diagram of the trading platform (grid) which tells you exactly what is what? I had to search through countless utube videos just to see how to hedge only to find out it was a simple click. I think having a diagram (to make it idiot proof) with tags on everything would help out.

I will mostly be trading pre race UK horse racing as this is/was my punting knowledge. I hope to make money on trends that I have seen throughout 20 years punting. Also my knowledge of the Scottish racing circuit as I'm from Glasgow.

Not sure what you mean by a diagram. If you plan trading pre-race I suggest you look no further than Caan Berry's vids on you tube as this is what he does for a living. He also has a couple of ebooks etc. Check them out it will give you a VERY good grounding.

Have you seen the manual?

It explains everything and is packed full of diagrams.

At the top of this forum click on "Support" followed by "User Guide"

This takes you to an online version and once there - at the bottom left - there is another link labelled "Complete PDF" which takes you to a downloadable PDF version.

Thought I'd give the Toy a go, I've been using Bet Angel for the last year but at £150 a year now it's hard to justify unless it's making you lots
from auto and spreadsheet stuff.

Did a few trades tonight with it and it seems rather good - well, I'm up so I would say that!

I am new to this trading, been gambling for over 12 years now and i have also tried the matched betting. Started tading 3 days ago and have now done well over 100 trades, i started with a bank roll of £50 and i am now on 41.11, this due to some beginner errors clicking on wrong column etc etc. Was just wondering how long does it take to build up to a good bank and from my figures and do any of you have any tips for a noob?

Hey all, just joined here.
Not strictly new to trading as I have done a lot of trading on the financial markets in the past and had a decent amount of success. I moved to trading football a few years back with mixed results, mainly due to holding on to winning/losing positions too long. Last month seem to have been a nice turning point as I have now erased all previous losses from the past few years and my account is now showing a healthy profit and started to be more consistent :-) Just need to keep disciplined and keep track of everything I am doing :-)

100 trades in 3 days, seems quite a lot. What markets are you trading?
