New to the forum but been dabbling with Betfair for quite a few years now to varying degrees of success. Started using Geeks Toy last year but work time constraints stopped me. Started up again in last few days. Being using tennis training on small stakes. Like the last 15 mins to off on horses and would like to look into football too.

Ive been risk free betting with great success over the last 4 years with the great help of Bet 72 which is fantastic.

Having subscribed to the Betting system notes I am starting to research and start using the trading notes from that site, having had some success with the more similar trades such as Lay the draw i'm going to move on to some of the more detailed trades from that site using the training mode on the Geeks Toy.

Hopefully there will be a few that are able to help me form this forum, I'll look forward to chatting in the near future

I have been working mostly in the asian marked for the last coupple of years, but I want more legs to stand on. Therefore Im currently looking into the trading markeds. The timing is good as my local footy season is about to finish for the season. My ultimate goal is to enjoy more freedom. Being able to travel more and doing my "work" from different locations. Currently my bank is a tad too small for maintaing this lifestyle in other parts of the world than low-cost countries. But if the next year is as good as the last 2-3. That will sooner or later change

Hoping to do this full time over the next few months.

After a few offline practice bets I can see how this can work but the returns are very small unless you wage large amounts. This seems a little risky for me so im going to keep practicing until im confident enough.

two ways to do this

either let the software do it for you, it will first place a £2 bet at 1.01 or 1000 and then adjust the stake amount and price to the bet you want to place.

But Betfair will get pissed off with you if you do that a lot (they don't mind hedging with under minimum stakes but if you are just betting they do).

or you can put a bet in on both sides, say you want to place a back bet of 50p you can put in two bets; a back bet of £2.50 and a lay bet of £2. Assuming you get matched on both sides this doesn't break any minimum stake rules and leaves you the bet you want.

Hi my name is Luis, I am from Portugal.
I am new to the trading world, and my ambitious is to make this a good source income in a future.

My background, I am a husband and a father, so I have some responsabilities. I have a full time job as a computer programmer.

I must admit that I would like to work on my own, and trading is a strong possibility. Besides being newbie to the trading world, I am not new to some basic concepts like bankroll management, discipline and emotional control. This is because I am a amateur poker player, and poker players have some things in common with traders.

Things like making the best positive EV (expected value) decisions at the table over making money; being able to desensitize to money; Play for the long term; Remove all emotions from decisions.

I am thinking in starting at the pre race markets, probably on the horse racing.

For now, that´s all, and thanks to all the traders from this forum.
