Hey peeps!

I'm taz, based in sunny London, just dabbling in this sports trading lark for the first time.

Having spent the past week or so researching & reading up on strategies, I took the plunge and downloaded the toy a few days ago....

....And posted my first small profit this evening! (attached)

Now I appreciate £2 may not quite justify packing in the job just yet, and I'm pretty sure I've got retina burn from staring so intently at my monitor, but it's a start!

So my apologies in advance for all the daft questions I'm yet to ask, but if I stay solvent long enough to learn a decent amount about the sports trading game, I look forward to repaying the GeeksToy community with any pearls of wisdom I pick up along the way!

Hi Every one, i hope like some of you that there is a great deal of knowledge out there, and some of you can give me the help i need to get started. Yep, thats right i'm a complete Newbie, the one thing that i see is that most people seem to trade in horses, but there isn't much in the way of videos for trading in Football, also are there any videos out that show you how to do trading and use The Geek system, yes i have seen the Geeks video set, but theres no Football trading, and how do you Hedge your bets?, how do you get a ladder showing all three including the draw?, and can you see the Hedge for all the three columns.
Plus when your using the ladder system, are the Lays & Back bets confirmed, or can you cancel them at any point.
I need to practise..practise and then practise, with out it costing money.

Just downloaded the Geeks Toy today.
Looking forward to using it. I play mostly in the over/under 2.5 goals market, downloaded the toy with a view to trading that market in the future. Any tips always welcome.

I'm one of the newbies out there guys.

I've recently been interested in trading as a random guy on the internet introduced this concept to me a couple of months ago

I remember having to go to my boring job in a bar to make 5£/hr while watching him making 80-90€/hour .It was painful!

However I've recently had the chance to learn a bit more about the concept.

I still can not make money.But I'm full of hope.

I'm at the stage at which I can not decide on what sport I should be concentrating on.

I've tried pre-race horse trading for couple of days,but I've never seen such volatile markets presented in those experts videos.So I've given up

I've also traded on footbal couple of times,thinking I could make money by laying the draw.

I've made some,but I ended up loosing more money though.

Anyway,this is me!

Now that is one hell of a name, but it's one that will get results, anyway Osman you are not the only one that's new, i started a few months ago and like you have lost more then i've made, so i have had my doubts about whether this does really work???, why? well it's because there doesn't seem to be any videos out there showing you how to get started, i mean get started by showing you how to get up and running by someone showing you in a very basic form what to do from the very start when you log on, showing you how to find the football sites and how to select the ladder formation including all 3 position ie: Home-Away-Draw, then how to Lay/Back one of the 3, then how to Hedge all your bets.
There should also be a way on how to practice Trading, by this i mean laying and backing without the bets being final, in other words Practice...Practice...Practice to become good at this game.
Yes i know there's videos out there, but all on other sports, and yes there is a video on FOOTBALL, but it only shows the ladder form with 2 rows ie: Away/Home no draw and how to show it, no voice over saying whats going on and to get the results, but very good music.

In case you missed it, The Toy has a Training mode where you can play without the bets being final as you say.

At the login screen, change the drop down from "Betfair Live" to "Training Mode"

Hi there fellow Geeks. I just downloaded this yesterday and have had a play about with it for a few hours and successfully but on some bets without losing my whole bank

Been on betfair for 9 months and became instantly hooked. I'm mostly been on football markets and some tennis, have tried lots of different ideas backing overs, unders, laying draws, backing draws, dutching correct scores, laying 0-0, laying the favourite, backing the favourite etc etc always using the betfair interface. Had varying degrees of success with these ideas yet to make any gains but I'm only out the price of a decent night out so I'm still optimistic that there are opportunities in here to generate profit!
