Hi, I don't know if you want to know it, but we say "Willkommen" in Germany, "velkommen" sounds somehow scandinavian to me, but it's okay, I know what you mean!

I already saw that there is also a german subforum in here, but you're definitely right, not much going on there.

Thanks for your compliment, I think that my english could be better, but it's nice to see that obviously peope are able to understand me.

I've got still many questions, but I think that there are some other threads in here where I should ask my questions regarding strategies, money management and so on.

But it's nice that there are so many users here who are willing to help unexperienced traders! :Thanks

Hi,

I am Jack, I am 19 years old and I live in Croydon which is in Surrey. I have been gambling since I was 15 and started to take it seriously about a year ago. I have always had a keen interest in Horse Racing and placed mostly single win or each way bets. I am starting to explore different areas of gambling because maths really interests me (As does all of the money!).

I am now, thanks to this site, going to start trading. It's great to have decent software provided so that I can take it seriously. I lost my job a few weeks ago so while I am looking for a job it will give me something to fill the days up with. I am looking for a career within the bookmaking industry and hopefully, one day I could be a professional gambler or trader.

It will be nice to learn some new things, and it appeals to me as it will keep my mind active.

Hi i'm Daniel new to forum and new to trading, been reading and researching and trying differnt methods and such for about 2-3 months tried bet devil found it useful learnt a few things,

now trying other things out to see which suits me best and maybe learn some new things along the way.

Seems to be some intresting reads on the forum so far seems more populated than other places i've been looking at so hopfully can learn alot from here and look foward to speaking (prob asking many questions) to you all.

Main interest in trading is in football (still think laying the draw is a good in the right games...), but am trying my hand at the tennis in the next fortnight. Started off nicely for me yesterday with the fed and the jock later on, so flingers clossed for a good day today.

I too am new here. I am enjoying the forum and have just started to try to trade on Betfair for the World Cup. So far I am doing OK, nothing brilliant but no major losses (well one where I stupidly layed Swtzerland against Spain hoping to trade and well, we all know what happened there I lost half my bank. The lesson learned was worth more though!

I have many questions, but for now one will suffice At work we are not allowed to access gambling websites so Betfair is out for me. I tried to use my mobile phone and while it is fine for placing bets in a slow moving market, once an event goes "in-play" it can not keep up. It looks like I will escape with an all green screen tonight on both ARG vs GRE and NGA vs S KOR but that is more to chance than good trading as my mobile is soooo slow to access Betfair's mobile application. I am sure I am missing good opportunities but there is nothing I can do Any advice you more experienced guys can offer me or should I just stay away from the mobile and stick to my laptop at home?

I am looking forward to participating and learning loads from all the experienced traders out there.
