All the worthwhile information on how you can go about your trading in order to make a long term profit can also be found FREE. No need to spend a penny. Ultimately it up to you though to find a winning method and strategy, noone gives them out for any price despite what you may read to the contrary.

            holy cr@p

you can get a superbly written ladder application for use on betfair - for NOTHING....I don't, won't, believe it...well I will cos I've installed it just now and it looks fabulous.... haven't made a bet placement though because it's 21:05 and there's no UK horses running right now, but just you wait....

Ok....I'm not gonna start asking questions about this and that because I haven't looked through the user guide or videos...alrigh, that's rubbish.... I am, is there a way to enhance the charting? I want bollinger lines and moving average...am I being ponsey? It won't stop me using it if I can't.

By the way, My name is Mark, I'm 30....I have a cat called Morris and I attempt the odd trade. I'm also sick of the self righteous toss pieces out there claiming there software sends men to the moon on the backs of wasps whilst making you money by sitting at home picking your toes... I was surfing the hyper global meganet, taking in Webbs bullshit when I came across 'The Geeks Toy' - I'm impressed....

anyway, a bit of a bedraggled hello.... hope to speak to you all soon

Hope I really did misquote that.. Do like to hear a good story about somebody losing a bank because their cat ran across the keyboard, but lets start out with rule 1.
              No pussy while you work.

                damn the stupid comma.....

yes misquoted, but far funnier and that's what matters.

Actually, you joke about the bank being wiped out due to the cat running across the keyboard....but guess what, it happened. He pulled it back by doing the same some months later whilst attempting a trade in play, guess what the horse won and netted me a couple hundred squids.... which I subsequently lost.

Desperately looking forward to running 'The Toy' tonight, i believe Kempton is on this evening

Don't rush into it. It should be fairly easy to pick up if have used BetDevil / Betraider, however there is a slight learning curve, as TT has many hidden gems within which may not be immediately apparent.

At minnium I suggest you watch the 2 introduction vidoes in our videos category here. http://www.geekstoy.com/forum/showthread.php?t=225

I also suggest when you have spare time here & there, clicking on the "?" for each window & exploring all the options available to you. The true power of the toy lies in what you can't immedaitely see, so spend a little time learning it.

What an absolutely awesome forum,I haven't stopped laughing yet whilst reading my way around it.Look forward to learning trading off you guys.I'm from Brisbane, queensland and I usually do just straight backing but as most my bets are on the flat in uk summer I thought I would learn a bit about trading.

                      thanks mr. Geek

                      Thanks....

i've played around with it a fair bit, well, a fair bit for 2 hours. I think I've got to grips with about 90% of it now.

Got the layout I like - one little question, I like to use the 'financial' layout but with a wider set charting bit.... is there a way to save my preferred layout as it loses my adjustments when i swap to the next race.

I always liked Todds BF trader when compared with Webs bet cherrub, it just felt smoother and more intuitive for my style....but TT takes it one step further when you get the nuts and bolts out of the way - I especially like how when a bet is placed, you see the profit/loss all the way up the ladder, fantastic.

Currently just trying to get out of a bad trade and breaking all rules here by letting it ride, but I 'know' it's coming back in.... I placed the bet, not through lack of understanding of TT, just a bad call on my part....so I may waffle for a bit longer on here if you don't mind... come on baby, 2 ticks left....

So, I was reading a bit on the forum... about one of the strategies.... checking the very popular tips from 'At the races' I've run a similar (come on baby, 1 tick to go, oooh yeah, there she blows, finished with 1 tick profit) strategy but making the picks myself, the strategy was placing bets at 12:00 before racing starts, but picking my horses from jockey stats - I never really got chance to trade properly, but paper traded this for a fair bit with some good success....But I followed the suggestion by looking at the prices from the selections from 'at the races' and was very impressed, think I counted an average change today in the 3 runners at about 3

ok I'm waffling now, i'm sorry, tell me to move this to another section and I'll do it....I was just killing time whilst by trade came back in

anyway, i'm very, no, ultra impressed with TT, it's so easy to get to grasps with....I'm not blowing smoke up your @rse, but the response time is also miles better than devil or scumbags... i've just tried a quick in play scalp, it was far easier to read and execute

I can't wait to give this a thorough going over, if i'm honest I've got a bit of a chubber on.

Hi all and thanks to The Geek for an excellent bit of software.

I might be known by a few of you from UKBT where I was informed of The Toy as generally all round spiffing. I've seen the odd similar name myself, hello Timster!

I've been doing very well laying the draw on footie using the BF interface exclusively for 3 years now and although I looked at bots/trading software etc I found them too complicated for my tiny mind to cope with. But I've recently developed a strategy for trading tennis and the only losses I've incurred were down to the fiddly BF interface so I felt it was time to get into the 21st Century!

The Toy still seems complicated to me but we're in the closed season for tennis and it's a perfect opportunity for me to get to grips with it. Are there any little introductory videos on getting started dotted around?

                          Good luck one and all

                          Your pal Cupid

Welcome to the great Toy forum, cupidstunt

I am glad to see you here, trading tennis is #1 for me, too bad we still have to wait some weeks but will be ready when new season starts.

Would be nice if you could share some of your strategies for trading tennis. I understand if you want to keep it for your self

                            cheers........
