tis a strategy..but be sure only to lay when you think the backing run is done..dont consider w.o.m as this lay pressure you mention, as that get pulled by layers who run for cover if they think they are gonna get steamrollered

Odds-on fav pressured out
Hi,
I have noticed that, almost invariably, if there is an odds-on fav anywhere from 1.9 to say 1.4 or so, then from approx 15 min to 2 min out when things start to become a bit frenetic there is a constant Lay pressure forcing the fav to drift. Would any kind and experienced soul give me an idea of the reasoning for this?
It would seem to be an obvious strategy to get in on the act by Laying and scalping a profit by Backing when it ticks out.
