Default Last day of Premiership

It could be an interesting or straightforward day depending on result at Manchester (and Stoke)

I think all Man City have to do is turn up on the day ... Man Ure, have a tougher game than what the Betfair odds suggest.

I must say, the chance of Man Ure pulling back the goal difference and winning the title is better than the UK winning this years Eurovision ... anything is possible ...

Man Ure have won 4/5 last day and both of the away games without conceding

How about Wigan's 1-0 victory over Man Ure, a month a go?

Ah ... I see ... But! Only 2/5 of Man Ure's last final games of the season, have been significant, i.e., they had already juan the title before the final match ...

Sunderland have lost 3/3 last day games at home, don't know if they were significant or not though

Neither of the games involving the Manchester teams will be influenced by any game (s) played in the past. The only things which will influence today's results will be the performances of the four teams today.

My guess is

Sunderland 1 Man Utd 1

Man City 2 QPR 0

I would not stake my life on either game.

I don't believe any games are influenced by games played in the past but it is significant how the stats stand up sometimes and it would take a brave man to back against Man City's unbeaten home run this season.

I do hope you get the scores wrong as I've had Over 2.5 in both games

Isn't it strange how stats only hold up after the event ? Those stats which don't hold up are never heard of again.

I hope that there are lots of goals but have decided to have a break from Over 2.5 and had a straight punt on 13 corners or more in the Man City game. Get my pencil and paper and tick them off. ( If I'm feeling a bit senile, I use the Sporting Index spread betting site as a crutch. )

Should be some good opportunities this afternoon, as the majority of away sides (In those games where there is nothing to play for) will have an eye on their summer hols. Home sides will be given the brief of "It's the last home match... do it for the fans".

I like the look of Norwich and Wigan (3.22 the double).

Add Swansea for an iffy treble at just over 10/1.

Will be interesting to see what side Chelsea put out, although Blackburn have nothing to play for.

Champs League finalists Bayern Munich were stuffed 5-2 by Dortmund in their domestic cup final, so the Blues will have increased hopes of bringing home the big one next weekend.

Enjoy all

Default Have this big kiss, Joey !

Thank you Joey. Until you were sent off, my corners bet looked dead and buried. Only 2 or 3 at half time.

Cheltenham v Torquay Over 2.5 ( traded out after 1st goal )

Celtic v Hearts Over 2.5 ( likewise )

Dingat ( lovely Welsh horse ! ) Won 3.50 race at Worcester @ 10

Man City v QPR Over 12.5 corners Won

Most people would be very happy with the above results but I have to admit that I also backed "Cards". Aguero's celebration by whipping his shirt off gave me a winning bet.

19 corners, 16 or 17 in the second half.

Splendid ! Sadly, it is not all "milk and honey". I did my first ever bet on a Grand Prix race. I put £ 4 on Sebastian Vettel. Bastard lost !

I'm going for a lie down now.

make that 3/3

If Fergie had arranged for Howard Webb to referee the City game there wouldn't have been 5 mins of added time and Man Ure would be champs

Default Wow what a day...... What a season

What do you guys think of the last day of the prem? I dont think I have seen anything like what happened at the etihad today. It had everything from sending offs to late goals. Overall though, I am pretty gutted as a man u fan to have the title taken in such dramatic circumstances. But when you throw away an 8 point lead you cant really expect to win the league. I suppose it was a fitting end to such a crazy season.
