          Day 2

Bit naughty really as thew aways some bigger greens in running but at least wasnt a loss after work. Might extend it to a bit of dogs and US nags if i get bored enough later.

Had a steady grind on the dogs and a few us nags (its really tireing with such a small bank)....

            got this email during trading...
One or more of your bets, placed on the market has been voided/lapsed by Betfair. Whilst these bets were all placed in good faith, in order to be fair to all users we have had to void/lapse them.

Should you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact us by emailing info@betfair.com or calling our helpdesk on 0870 0110444 (+44 20 8834 8060 from outside the UK). You will find details of the voided bets in "My Account, Betting History".

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience, and we hope you continue to use and enjoy the site.

            Kind regards

            Voided/Lapsed Bets

Couldnt work it out so give em a call..... apparently they let a greyhounds market run while the race was on without suspending it. So all bets were voided after the start time, but i didnt place one bet after the start time yet my 32 bets were canceled..... was only for small change but really pissed me off particularly with the BF employees attitude on the phone.

Anyway, had some crazy clicking in the race after as it got under my skin so im calling it quits for the night.

yup - nicely summed up, it is very depressing having to rely on grehounds and US racing, You get pretty sick of battling against bots after a while, especially in teh mutts markets. I've found in recent weeks that the best markets for dogs are the ones after 7pm, the overall liquidity tend sto be less but i find it easier to get matched somehow.

Yeah i notice this took keefter... after 8.30 though it seems to die out and its pretty much just bots, usually i chin it off after a few as its a right grind :/

Pfffft.... finished early today... thought winner, got home to see just an AW card, absolutely dier...

Its really killing me trying to put such a small amount through in such un liquid markets, hats off to keefter.
Inplay today the results dont tell the whole story by a long shot.. in the 4.30 i had £53 unhedged on Russian ice after a nice spike i caught in the market, had it sat @ 1.48 and didnt see the need to move it as he looked like the clear winner on the run in to me..... lowest price matched was 1.51 (what a kick in the nuts) followed by the race after i was too slow to get a hedge out (only for £15) utter utter frustration.

Feels like im wasting pre race opportunities with such a small bank so im gonna chin the challenge off before i do something stupid and go back to normal, it dosent suit me this week as in running my results are massively different on the longer races over fences so i will do another challenge before the geeks date but ill have a re-think as when, maybe a sunday challenge or something as theirs always lots of them type races then.

                  :Thumbs

Backed the potential winner with tick offset @ 10 ticks (£25 stake) twice and got the hedge out pretty low..... worth mentioning although i operate with the tick offset at 10 the timing is important, chances are the lay got matched far lower than the 10 ticks asked for with the 2 second delay.... glad i got the hedge out and didnt let it run on as it come second, its my prefered way of trading although if the timings not right you'll loose your stake (hence day 1 of the challenge) It's far easier in a race over a bit more distance, i find the short races harder as theirs less time to form an opinion prior to the 'dog-fight' lol
