The mess was caused by the original BT4 developers, and this is the very same issue that was causing all the server crashes 18 - 21 months ago. The {second} last guy that was in there told him 2 months ago that the server needed to be taken down for 2 days to fix it properly, but rather than deal with it in a controlled manor, he thought he'd wing it in the hope of BTE being launched or wait until it went bang, BS the world and now he's blaming the last guy that was in there.

So is he blaming you as the last guy in there TG?

We can expect the release of Nicko today if they fail to fix it. Lets hope it is bug free then.

Dear *********,

Our engineers are still working on fixing the server today, but it's turning out to be a lot more serious than originally thought.

I know how frustrating this is for our users so if we can't get a fix in place today then I think we'll go ahead and release Nickolution.

We were hoping to have a much more civilised launch of Nickolution where you could swap over in your own time but it's there as an option if they can't fix it today.

Sorry again for these problems and thanks for your support, I'll let you know what's going to happen as soon as we know.

Best regards,
Adam Todd

Well strictly speaking, he had some "professional" in there after me & the net result of their fiddling was to bring the the deadline forward 13 days.

But, somehow I think this is aimed at me.

Hi Guys. Just arived and pleased to be here. Thanks for the invite.

BT has been running like shit for weeks, yet despite many complaints, nothing has been done, complaints were simply ignored. Lousy customer service.

I dont really want to have to use it again. Can I stick my name down as a beta tester for the toy, if you need any more that is. No problem if not, I can manage to trade on the main Betfair site, for a while.

Lol, I had to spend ages there this morning, manually closing out some posititons. A right pain after being used to 1 click trading.

Welcome to you Mole.

Good to have an ex-bookie on board. Looking forward to your input and educating us on the goings on from "the other side of the counter" so to speak.

As above. Didn't trade yesterday but the fact that BR is still down is a pisser to say the least. Messing around on something else at the mo on their free trial.

Afternoon folks.

In light of yet another wasted day for BT4 users, I have just opened up our test programme to the public, so all can download the toy & have a play.

Details are here.

And he's a cheeky blighter for doing so - I'd be inclined to let them get on with it, they must be running out of feet to shoot themselves in.

Normally it would be funny, but seeing as Adam has pulled out so much hair already this week he looks like Uncle Festa & Web Monkey hasn't been able to spank the monkey for days, I reckon you should all give them a couple of days off. And besides, you don't need to go over there & do it. They take a very keen interest in what's going on here for some strange reason. Don't know why with all the work they have to do.
