Hi All,
just short note to say how indispensible I find the audio warnings on The Toy. I get so caught up in the moment I find it very difficult to keep a track of how close to the off of any event I am. I started using them when trading the dogs, as there is no in-running betting with that sport, but find them just as useful on the horses. It was brought home to me just how much I rely on them, when I traded Betdaq (thanks to Jimrobo and his IT insight) today. I was completely lost without them. I unintentionally went in play on four or five occasions whilst using one of Betdaqs tools which had no audio warnings Thanks for that essential tool TG, MC. |

Yes, although sometimes they do make me jump so I replaced them with more subtle chimes of various sorts. I can post them up if you want to steal them.

I've now got a Keene USB FM transmitter plugged into my laptop, which means I can be doing something else anywhere in the house, and hear immediately when a bet gets matched, nip to the nearest computer and sort out whatever needs doing. Brilliant. 15 quid from amazon, post free, if anyone wants to give it a go. [edited to add] Oh, and I remember requesting them on here back in the day - and they happened, exactly as I'd imagined them. I wish Betfair worked like that. |

Sheer bliss is "paying a visit to the toilet and hearing the scream of my siren twenty yards away in the lounge".

Hi, can someone tell me how to reinstate the audio warnings please, I recently downloaded someone elses layout for ladders & they clearly didnt have any warnings on. The layout is brilliant, (thank you doubleback) but i cant reinstate the warning sounds. Any advice would be appreciated as I too depend on them a lot

Just right click the top bar of TT (where appears version on account name) and go to "Audio Alerts Manager" then it's up to you...
don't forget to save profile

Hi RManPT,
Thanks for your response. I,ve actually already done as you suggest & here's what happens. Get the drop down menu of all possible warning stages, ie 10 mins to the off, 2 mins to the off, at going in-play etc. next to the 'file' symbol the label reads, C:\users\Bob\Downloads\Harp.wav, (that maybe doublebacks file asI downloaded his layout), or C:\Program Files\The Geek\AGT Pro-Betfair\Resources\Sounds\a Deer.wav. When I try & open either of these files i get the warning message, 'path does not exist, check path & try again'. I cannot get any further than that, any ideas what I should do next? Thanks |

Hi RManPT,
Its Chris again. I forgot to add that when I try the sound test button nothing happens, as if the volume has been turned off |

Hi chrishorne,
What you have to do is activate the triger you want to use by clicking "GO" then press the folder symbol and navigate in your computer to the sound file you want to use and finally set the timer... It's normal that if the path is wrong the test won't work. I've created a folder inside the "sounds" folder of The Toy where I've put all my personalized sounds. That way I'm sure I won't delete any by mistake. Hope this helps. Keep me posted. |

Thanks again RManPT,
Sorry to keep bugging you but where is the sounds folder within The Toy? |

Make a folder of your own sounds. I call mine "Sounds" and it is located in "My Documents". Then, use the Audio Alert Browse button to navigate to your folder. It doesn't matter where the Bart Simpson sounds are now, your Toy will go to the folder you tell it to go to. Then, save profile.

As custard said you can create one wherever you want.
The default sounds folder of TT is inside the instalation folder. |
