Default Olympic Torch

Just got back from taking the dog out to watch the Olympic torch pass through our town.
Fantastic sight, would recommend anyone to make the effort to see it. Waving cheering, and people enjoying the sunshine, wonderful stuff.
Lucky enough to live near the rendezvous point where the participants gather to go to the next town. The organisation is a credit to the nation, gives a whole new meaning to the phrase 'special bus'....
Anyone else seen it yet??

Good to hear, it comes near me but I was unsure as to whether it was worth going or not even though it's a once in a lifetime thing. You've made my mind up for me

The torch wont be passing my house until day 63, 64, 65 or 66, I think ...

I just had a look at the 'Olympic Torch Relay Route' and where I live looks like Gatwick's daily flight path ...

Trying to decipher exactly where and when the £150k torch will pass my house, pretty much demonstrates the chaos that will undoubtedly happen in London the following month ...

Don't forget, it's us Londoners paying the price of a Walnut Whip a week, for the next four hundred and seventy eight decades, that enables the rest of the country to see the fecking torch ...

That tosser, Livingstone, put in a bid for about fifty six pence to secure London's Olympic bid ...

of course, the Olympic Committee chose London ... and of course, the cost of the Olympics has increased exponentially ...

We will be paying for it for years ...

Have I got any tickets to any events?

No, the only ticket I will possibly receive is if whilst driving my passion wagon, I stray into a VIP Olympic Lane that is enforced by the army's finest donning rocket launchers ...

anyway, the aliens are meant to be landing at the Olympics ... that will be far more entertaining than going to see a torch ...
