Question: What is an owned licence?
Answer: An owned license is a one off payment made to cover the use of the current version of AGT Pro & all future upgrades for a single Betfair account, with no further payments required from you for the future for use of the software. Question: How much will an owned licence cost after the promotion period? Answer: We are offering this for a limited time initially for existing users, after which point you will only be able to purchase the subscription option. Question: What does the following clause in the owned licence mean? We do reserve the right however to pass on any future additional direct costs incurred by us for your personal use. This includes such things as Betfair charging us a fee specifically for your access to it's services, or any form of new government taxation or licensing fee that we have to pay on a per user basis. Answer: We are selling you the licence based upon Betfair pricing & taxation in force today. If in the future a government decides to implement something like a Trading Software Tax, or Betfair decides to charge us a fee per user for your use of their API via our software, we need to be able to pass that charge on to you. It is highly unlikely that these options will occur in the future, as Betfair has always charged vendors a flat fee for API access, and the idea of a Trading Software Tax is ridiculous. But for example, in the very unlikely event we are subject to pay a charge / tax of £5 per user per month, we can not be in the position of selling you a product today for £120, to be charged £60 { whatever } a year for you to use it at any future point Question: Can you change your mind & charge me more money in the future? Answer: No. { Except in the circumstances stated above } Once you purchase the licence, the agreement between you & the company is a legally binding contract under English law, and we can not charge you any further fees for the product. Question: I am worried about purchasing an owned licence due to potential legal / regulatory issues in my country with Betfair. Answer: If you have concerns of Betfair being banned in your country in the next 18 months, you are best opting for the 3 month subscription. Question: Can I transfer my owned licence to a different Betfair account in the future? Answer: No. { NB We will however transfer the licence for you in extraordinary circumstances where you are unable to use your Betfair account due to closure / suspension, subject to Betfair providing us confirmation that the old account & new both belong to you. This may occur in cases of a security breach on your account etc. } Question: How do I know you are going to be around in the future if I purchase an owned licence. Answer: You don't. All I can do to reassure you is the following... 1. The product is now operated by a company with sufficient funding & risk management in place to keep the product going for a long time. 2. As in the past, where previous companies or developers have gone bankrupt or quit, Betfair will still keep the product running free on their API. 3. Should the product no longer be commercially viable, we will open source it. 4. I've been doing this 4 years already for free, and I'm sure the guys on the forums will tell you the service has been outstanding to date. If you think I'm going to run away now I'm getting paid for it, then keep your money in your pocket. |

We currently accept payments via PayPal and Skrill (Moneybookers)
At this time we do not accept any other online payment service. You do not need an account with either to pay, just a credit or debit card such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express etc. Online orders are generally processed automatically unless there is a query with your order, when they will be held over for manual processing. If you are unable to use electronic payment methods, we can accept UK Cheques, Postal Orders or cash. Please include your forum username, contact address & telephone number with your payment, and send to Talented Mavericks Limited 26 Buttercup Close Corby Northamptonshire NN18 8LB. Please note that due to the risks involved in sending money by post, we advise against using this method of payment for you own protection, as we can not be held liable for payments that we do not receive. We strongly suggest for your own peace of mind using recorded delivery when paying by these methods, Proof of delivery doesn't mean proof of payment though, and we will only apply subscriptions to accounts upon clearance of received payments. There are no plans to charge for the Betdaq version for at least the next 18 months.
Unlike Betfair who charge vendors to use their service, Betdaq are assisting us financially to keep the toy free for their users. |

1. The product is now operated by a company with sufficient funding & risk management in place to keep the product going for a considerable time.
2. As in the past, where previous companies have gone bankrupt / wound up / stopped providing the service, Betfair will still keep the product running on it's API. 3. Should the product no longer be commercially viable, we will open source it. 4. I've been doing this 4 years already for free, and I'm sure the guys on the forums will tell you the service has been outstanding to date. Not currently. Our immediate priorities are to our existing customers in the near future before we focus on attracting new ones.
We are planning on adding one later this year when we have the time, so keep an eye on our announcements forum. |

"You have not yet linked your Betfair account with your forum account. To do so, you need to login to the Toy and link your accounts."
When you receive this message, it means that you have probably linked your Betfair account to another forum account in the past. If you can not remeber it, click here for instructions on how to retrieve the forum name your Betfair account is linked to. |
