Came across The Geeks Toy via Shadow Ninja's journal on trade2win (which he hasn't updated in ages).
I have been looking at ways to make money betting on football for ages. I started out betting on form, then betting on outliers, both these did dismally. I have had some success swing and position trading stocks (but nothing to brag about), looking now to start trading on betfair although to be honest have no idea where to start, so you'll probably be seeing a lot of me lurking on these forums hoping to pick up a gem of wisdom here and there. |

Hi there!
Just thought it would be nice to say hello. I just registered to the forum and downloaded/installed The Toy (didn't get past the login screen though, still, keeps telling me to confirm my forum account, even when it's obviously active.. )Anyways, I've been trading for little time, although I'm already starting to enjoy it.. I intend to make it my job although I'm not there quite yet... I need more experience. I have some experience with arbitrage too, though I had to quit due to damned bookmaker limits... hope this never happens with betfair..I'm eager to learn as much as I can from all you guys, so let the game begin! See ya around! |

Long story, but it can take up to 10 minutes for a confirmed account to port across to the other server. If it still isn't working in 10 minutes or so, post again & I will investigate for you. |

Hi.
Just wanted to say I finally was able to login today. I don't know if it's due to the changes you made as mentioned in the other thread, but I did it with the app I already had downloaded and it made me enter the forum data again. Anyway, I hope you sort out any issues there might be. Cheers. |

Hi Everyone - i'm new on here - new to trading too - not very bright it seems, so much i don't understand but i will say that the TG vids have helped immeasurably in providing a basic understanding of the some of the concepts i've been trying to grasp. I love the product - keep up the brilliant work.

Hello everyone,
I've been trading a while and betting a lot longer, primarily on horse racing. Have experience of using other software and Bot packages on the market. AGT v.1.2 is brilliant, it's so fast, flexible and configurable for different trading styles. A truly great and useful trading software package. My biggest regret with trading was ignoring the bookmakers. Centaur was interesting thanks to Betfair but I certainly didn't get burnt and recent events prove that "caveat emptor" and don't gamble with money you cannot afford to lose are important maxims to abide by in life. The most positive aspect of Centaur for me was meeting a chap by the name of Steve Ward, a real help with the psychology associated with trading. Maneman |

Hi all, quick question. Does anyone know where i can view a price that a horse fell to in running. ie Hello Bud in the national i know i backed him at 126.00 but he steamed into 33's pre off and ran a very good race. where can i see what his lowest in running price was? not sure if betfair keeps this information available, infact im pretty sure they don't.
Any help much appreciated. Kind regards Fluffnut |

http://form.horseracing.betfair.com/ go to cards & results, and you can select race you want.
