Nope, betdaq's 2.5 comm offer hasn't had much impact and let's face it smarkets are pretty much a non starter at the moment and I'd guess the foreseeable future

I need smarkets to feature domestic cricket matches before contemplating it.

I'd love for Smarkets to succeed but frankly they're a bit of a joke. It's very brave of them to keep their live chat showing, but if you scroll back you can see a catalogue of basic errors and issues. I'd go so far as saying that they appear to be doing live beta testing with member's cash... Scary.

For purely selfish reasons, I’d also love smarkets to succeed. I went along to their offices and chatted to a few of the people that run the show. I don’t want to do them too much of a disservice on a forum, but afterwards I left feeling rather disappointed. I have a lot of knowledge about exchange betting having successfully avoided the sharks for years, but rather than focusing on some of the points I raised about their overall direction and certain areas they could capitalise on and improve over the BF experience, they seemed more concerned with rather trivial website issues.

Their target market is probably not the likes of me, but I can’t help feeling that it may be slightly contradictory to offer a rather sophisticated product to a fairly sophisticated customer whilst also desperately try to dumb it down and make it as accessible as possible.

Didn’t Flutter try all this social malarky?

The very thing that they have algorithm runned by them in their place is just scaring me. I am wondering what is going to happen If I start trade without using app software on football. For example:
Milan - Barca playing. I have information that Barca have a lot of injuries and the Messiah (you know who I am talking about :P) is not playing as well. Thats why I decide to lay Barcelona at 2.5 for example 2 days before the kick off. I am laying it at their bot because there is liquidity but it it artificial. After the odds change to 3.2 for Barca I decide to close the trade again in their bot. So what I did now - I just took money from them even before the kick off. I am wondering how would they feel about that. Are they wellcome all customers? The fact that they are running a bot that copy the betfair prices speaks enough imo...

LuckyYou, the bots at Smarkets are run by third parties, you are welcome to trade against them.
