I downloaded the software late last night and have been playing with it a bit today. Well done to Geeks Toy - it looks like a really good asset for punters and it's great that you have made it available for free.
A few initial newbie questions occur to me... 1. Is it possible to leave a bet up and if it is not matched, then take the SP - like you can in the Betfair software? 2. Is there an automated function available whereby you can say bet x amount on all horses who hit 25s in the market? 3. If you make adjustments to the preferences on the software (as I did in error a few times this morning), is there a return-to-default option anywhere or does this happen automatically when you log off. Thanks again for the software - it's

Click on small question mark on the bar at the top of the application to get the help files.
(i) Default Bet Persistence – Sets the Default Bet Persistence for new bets. It will change the Default Bet Persistence for the Grid, Ladder and Place bets window: Cancel – when an unmatched bet is placed it will be set to cancel when the market is turned In Play Keep – when an unmatched bet is placed it will be set to be a Keep bet when the market is turned In Play Take SP – when an unmatched bet is placed it will be set to be an SP bet when the market is turned In Play ( read the bits around here for a full explanation ) (ii) In short, no. (iii) Keep playing around with the software and if you find a combination of settings you like, save them as a new profile. I don't think there is a "return to default " shortcut. When you understand how customisable The Toy is , it is very likely that you will prefer your own settings so it's worth experimenting in order to understand how it works. |

And another question...
After placing bets on a market, is there a quick way to see what you have got matched and what remains unmatched - and the odds you have taken/are asking for? This doesn't seem to be displayed on the main ladder on the left or the specific market grid. I'm having to go into Betfair to find it, but there must be a quicker way, I suspect. Thanks.
